gumboots Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Anybody noticed how he gets wheeled in regularly to champion black footballers? Why should this be? Is it because he's black?
Stuart Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Is it because he's black? Tongue firmly in cheek, eh, Gums?
philipl Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 Don't know if anyone has posted this before but it's hilarious - had me laughing out loud Part 2 is even better!
thenodrog Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Don't know if anyone has posted this before but it's hilarious - had me laughing out loud Whose the bloke sitting with JW on episode 1 meant to be? btw Ledley King is bloody hilarious.
brian_gallagher85 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 The Robbie Keane is just the best ever - the eyes, the voice and the arm waving are first class
philipl Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 The Brum derby is absolutely abysmal. Villa pinching it at the end keeps Brum beneath us but Villa were nothing special and Brum really seem to be this season's grimmest team to watch. A Fulham/Everton draw will be just fine.

American Rover12 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Both those vids are hysterical RovertheHill

Villa pinching it at the end keeps Brum beneath us but Villa were nothing special and Brum really seem to be this season's grimmest team to watch. A Fulham/Everton draw will be just fine. Villa aren't the force they were because their tactics and playing style have been found out. You can't completely nullify them but there are ways to try and counter how they try to play. I think they will be lucky to finish in the top six.
Hughesy Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 £48 for villa fans today!!!! DISGUSTING. Seriously? Only £32 for us ar Arsenal.........
Grabbi Graeme Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Fulham just scored 1-1 now, be nice if it stays like that till full time.
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Duffer puts Fulham in the lead, 2-1.
Blue blood Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Some interesting results yesterday in the prem, with lots of talking about the Arsenal City game. Have to say it confirms my oppinions that City are pretty lethal going forward but look suspect at the back. If Arsenal could defend then City would have been in trouble. I think City will come unstuck against more balanced teams, as despite the clean sheets prior to this I've not been too convinced by them. Also after witnessing RVP's two footed assault on Ryan Nelsen's kneecaps at Ewood two years ago I really have no sympathy whatsoever. Agreed. He's a malicious little thug. He'd just tried to floor Adebayor before he got done himself. How RVP can take the moral ground when Adebayor was better at hurting his opponent is beyond me. Having said that I'd ban the pair of them. Both intended to hurt their opponent, the intent was clearly there. Adebayor should get another match ban on top of that for taunting the Arsenal fans. I'd also chuck in a charge (pardon the pun) at the Arsenal fans for their retaliation. If Adebayor is meant to rise above the taunting of the Arsenal fans, the same argument stands for them too. Adebayor being a pillock doesn't give them the right to start throwing things.
ABBEY Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Seriously? Only £32 for us ar Arsenal......... according to ian darke.

You can't completely nullify them but there are ways to try and counter how they try to play. I think they will be lucky to finish in the top six. Villa's main strength is Carew. If he's fit they'll be much stronger opposition than if he spends half the season on the treatment table.
philipl Posted September 13, 2009 Author Posted September 13, 2009 Fulham's win means Everton are going to be desperate to get out of the bottom 3 when we go there next Sunday.
thenodrog Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Fulham's win means Everton are going to be desperate to get out of the bottom 3 when we go there next Sunday. Alternatively a relegation position malaise might make em very nervy too.
John Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Fulham's win means Everton are going to be desperate to get out of the bottom 3 when we go there next Sunday. Another way of looking at it is that their confidence may not be too high.
Mr. E Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Hopefully BFS doesn't hold anything back and we go at them for the 3 points too. We can beat them if we fire on all cylinders and focus on attack.
John Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Some nice comments in the Pompey/Bolton Times match report. “Bolton scored, essentially, from typical Bolton play. I’d hate to see Blackburn versus Bolton this season. I think it is going to be one of the most hideous games of football.
tcj_jones Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Adebayor clearly attempted to at least rake his studs down Van Persie's face and maybe even to stamp on it. Like RVP or not, Adebayor deserves a massive, massive ban for that. Combined with his overall conduct on the day, I'd give him a twelve match ban.
RIML Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 Another way of looking at it is that their confidence may not be too high. They do also have a Europa League game against AEK Athens on Thursday. No travelling involved but still, let's hope all their effort goes into that game.
modes98 Posted September 13, 2009 Posted September 13, 2009 I'd give him a twelve match ban. Why 12? Just pick a random number? There is past suspension levels that have to be considered. 3 is a fair suspension for a stamp.
