Majiball Posted December 8, 2009 Author Posted December 8, 2009 Reidy's not the type to pack it in, yet. He's just spent about 3 plus years injured, regardless of what work he does during that time his body will not be ready to cope with the stresses from the ever increasing demands of modern football. So he will pick up injuries along the way.

Kei Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Whatevr happens to Steven Reid I'll never forget this one ouch Was that Chimbonda that headed it clear and into his path? Ridiculous strike, I've never seen or heard a ball tear into the net like that before or since.

joey_big_nose Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 After six years at the club, that's all he's remembered for. Says it all really. Harsh. He is remebered for that whole period where he was very good for us. However it does have to be said that he would not be an improvment on NZonzi, Grella or Dunn going on current form - even if he was at the top of his game. Top bloke, sad to see.

I've got nothing against Reid, personally. But whenever people rave about him, it's that goal which is only ever mentioned. He's been more anonymous than not, aside from that purple patch. I wish the guy well in his rehabilitation, but I don't think his future is here.

Steven Reid on top form not better than Grella? Are you going mad?
The Rover of Finland Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Reid in his best shape would be a certain starter for Blackburn today. No doubt.
Montfort Posted December 8, 2009 Posted December 8, 2009 Reid in his best shape would be a certain starter for Blackburn today. No doubt. Undoubtedly. There were rumours that united were interested at one stage
thenodrog Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 Reid in his best shape would be a certain starter for Blackburn today. No doubt. Great goal that kick started his best season for us but he's punching above his weight in the Prem and thats that.
