Hilfenhaus has this thing wobbling about all over the place.

I know very little about him, but wasn't expecting much having read you Aus guys opinions on here before the series. In reality he looks very handy.

Conditions are good, this is an easy scoring wicket, the bowling is mediocre and the outfield lightning fast.

Anything less than 500 will be a failure by England.

KP just lucky then the ball didn't drop to a fielder.

Think the Aussies on the whole haven't bowled that badly on this pitch, Johnson has been shocking though.

Check hawkeye's pitch map, Siddle and Johnson have been Harmison like in their spraying of the ball all over the place.

Englands bowlers are rubbish. There is no reason why the Aussies cant match what England get, or more. The pitch is as flat as anything ive seen. The movement is through the air.

Movement through the air is what England bowlers specialise in.

Onions is in top form, shame Harmy wasn't selected as so is he. We will get more out of the pitch if the standard of bowling is as poor as is being reported.

KP is annoying me at the moment, he seems incapable of playing that gritty innings. Don't play big shots and get yourself a good score, then let rip.

England has put on a decent show today and I wouldn't be surprised if there is a fair bit more to come.

Anyone know anything further on Hauritz's injury?

I agree but do the selectors have the Cojones to drop him? Dropping him could give him the kick up the backside he needs and actually help his game, at the moment he just comes out with the usual "well thats how i play and i won't change my game". Knowing that his place isn't automatic might make him think more. I'm not saying he needs to fully change his game, but he needs to be able to adapt to what is required, he has the talent to do so.
