being as he`s 17 yrs old, that`s one for the youth set up i think. there will be a few players though signed pre-18 yrs old for the squad due to this new ruling that comes into force next season where you have to have(is it?) 4 players that have been at your club prior to their 18 th birthday in the matchday squad. it`s good to see that it`s forcing us to bring in young talent from around europe though.

I have to laugh at twitchy head Redknapp, the most over rated manager in British football, buys players then gets rid of them within 6 months, spends money and leaves the club in debt, West Ham and now Pompy!!

I agree.. for some reason I have a completely irrational dislike of Harry Redknapp & I've never liked spurs, very much the Newcastle utd of the south. All the pundits tip them for "big" things at the begining of every season & they never really deliver.

Hopefully if Chamakh's comments are to be believed, and he really is looking to come to the prem, he will see this & steer clear of 'Arry & his boys and join the mighty Rovers!!! :D

And who are you Mr to know whether ive been passed on information or not. A bid is going to be made for a player this week thats all i can say, if i revealed name then others who read this board from other clubs could be some high profile person from that club you never really know may also fancy their chances with that particular player then things may begin to go pear shaped

Things seem to indicate that Sam is going to "turn up the heat" in search of a striker & with all the players that we have been linked to in recent weeks this does indicate that regardless of someone having a "source", we might well be looking to deal up soon, in fact I'd go as far as to say, if nothing happens this week then the coaching staff at Rovers will be concerned because it will mean less time training with the striker & the rest of the lads, and quite possibly if said striker doesnt speak English & there is no other player at the club that speaks his language then that could well be another slight setback in terms of talking to him about tactics & coaching systems.

Saviola, I hope your "source" has the right info & we are going to make a bid, but even before today, I had the idea things will start moving this week, Nicko mentioned it earlier too.

Either way, I'm sure that the Sam & his staff know the importance of getting the new player/s in & getting them in as soon as possible, so I'm gonna relax, keep my eyes on this message board & watch the frenzy start at around 11pm this evening!!! ;)

I know something... i watch this board continuously and can tell there are only about 3 people who know something for definite. The rest seems to be conjecture and wishful thinking!

Btw - how much interest will we have earned on £21m in a month?

3??? I'd say there are only 2 with genuine info before it hits the press, those being Nicko and Unleaded.

Once news hits the press there are certain people who know a great deal about world football and have an opinion genuinely worth listening to, Gumboots being a prime example.

The majority of us are just fans hoping for a bit of good news :P It just grinds my gears when people actl ike they are in the know or you see members spouting insider info on other boards when it's blatantly just come from Nicko on here.

A couple of the official boards are particulary bad for this.
