Was chatting to a couple of mates at work today and the fact the Crouchy had turned down Sunderland for London and probably spuds when one of the guys mentioned Marc Janko. Must admit never heard of him before today but he is the Austrian Crouch :lol:

6'6" and scored bundles of goals in Austria

Can't believe he would cost the sort of money being talk about for the likes of Bent etc

Anyone any info on him?

Or have I just missed him on one of the many many pages here :lol:

TBH I've never heard of him either??? :huh:

C'mon man get with the programme... apparantly allthough he does score loads of goals, they've gone quiet on him... I think he may be the "if all else fails" signing!!! ;)

Nicko, how come Portsmouth don't appear to have much money considering their new owner is meant to be loaded?

Would this mean more of their better players (excluding Mokoena) are available such as Kranjcar? I wouldn't mind seeing a creative player like him at Blackburn.

I believe M'Bami is going to Turkey...M'Bia signed for Marseille after having a medical at Stoke.

Have the Shikabala and Van der Merde :P links gone quiet?

I am not sure Shikabala is fit - didn't he miss the Confederations Cup.

Van der Meyde was training in Austria last week, maybe he went out for a few burgers with Christian Vieri and never came back. Will check.

It's a very good question...I believe his idea is to run the club on the cheap...so their better players will want to leave.

I know someone else asked it earlier, but no news on any back-room staff additions? Also, reporter on SSN was saying Lita will move soon, any idea where?

No word on staff arrivals, but that could change soon...in fact, it has to.

Lita is looking for a club, which tells its own story. I did hear of one today, but they are in the Championship and even they are not sure about him.

Think he was linked with Leicester. Thought he looked ok at one point, but career has nose dived somewhat. Only mentioned it as someone said they heard he could come here on trial.

The man said on Skysports that championship and premiership clubs are interested in Leroy Lita and they expect it to be sorted by the end of the week. Which premiership clubs are interested Nicko?

Lita or his camp are just using Sky to rev up interest. There is a Championship club sniffing, but he obviously thinks he is better than them...

It's the second half of July and he isn't fixed up, starting to get worried obviously.
