ben_the_beast Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 If I remember rightly we have a sell on clause on Taylor don't we. Should hopefully bring in a couple of hundred thousand.

JAL Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 what about bendtner , surely he would be in the price range , target man , PL experience ...funny thing is while adebayor goes to city , the arsenal fans will be crying out for a top quality replacement and knowing wengers belief in his young players bendtner will probably find himself in the starting line-up ha ha ....still think he worth a look sam! Good shout AJW.
thenodrog Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I think its either:- K Davies K Jones C Cole or B Zamora in that order Signing Zamora will mean a relegation battle. He can't trap a wet sandbag and he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo.
spencey7 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 In a nutshell, the £17m from Roque's sale isn't all available Shock horror.
Guest bluesue Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Signing Zamora will mean a relegation battle. He can't trap a wet sandbag and he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. I think that also to some degree, however he is last on the list
ffan Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 He can't trap a wet sandbag and he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. Wrong on the first one, right on the second one
Billy Castell Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I'd be livid if it was Zamora Bluesue. He is utter ____. I'd rather we resign Kuqi than that plank. I honestly don't see why anyone above the level of Barnet or Grimsby would want him ever playing for them. He has been poop since that 1 good season at the seaside gay boys when he was about 20. He's the Alan Fettis of Premier League strikers.
thenodrog Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Wrong on the first one, right on the second one I take it back ffan.... he CAN trap a wet sandbag. Just a pity for Bobby that football isn't played with wet sandbags:P
ffan Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 I take it back ffan.... he CAN trap a wet sandbag. Just a pity for Bobby that football isn't played with wet sandbags:P He's a good player but as you say I'd imagine he'd be way down on the list of your targets.

Im just worried, everyones getting there hopes up ie :- Janko Toni Bent etc Nicko's Post Earlier went to the tune of I cant wait to see your reaction when you see who you do sign. I fear the wost
Billy Castell Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 That's right bluesue, Nicko is a bit of a Burnley fan after all!
philipl Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Well at least this thread is a bit more interesting accompaniment to my tuna butties than it was last night. Cracking piece of translation there Bob. Incidentally, I never got the hang of how one of these things work: Für einen technologischen Quantensprung bei handgeführten Akkumaschinen sorgt der Spannmittelspezialist RÖHM in Zusammenarbeit mit einem namhaften Hersteller von Elektrowerkzeugen. Something to while the hours away until Bent-Zigi Jonkcard van Hasselcrouch signs for Rovers
Taggart Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Anyone know th eteams for tonight and if its on the radio at all ? Apologies for probably not posting in the right section

Guest bluesue Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 That's right bluesue, Nicko is a bit of a Burnley fan after all! He does seem to know an awful lot though The Average Iq of a dingle cannot be tested due to there poor hand/eye co-ordination but Nicko's iq would seem to be about the same range as a human being which would meen Nicko could not be a dingle but rather a lover of all things tartan
RovertheHill Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Signing Zamora will mean a relegation battle. He can't trap a wet sandbag and he couldn't hit a cows arse with a banjo. You've just described Jason Roberts
Fylde Coast Fan Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Think people need to calm down a bit - I'm pretty sure nicko didn't have any particular player in mind when he made the comment everyone's jumping on, I took it as more of a general comment that we're considerably more desperate than we were when we thought Kevin Davies was the best we could do, rather than "I know who you're buying and he's a donkey".

Baz Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Nicko, Any chance of us nipping in to sign this guy? Klaas
Billy Castell Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Think I have more chance of a threesome with Rihanna and Pope Leo IX.
John Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Nicko, Any chance of us nipping in to sign this guy? Klaas Spurs fans seemed to think they have had a bid accepted for him too. Even though I have not seen it reported anywhere....
TheNews Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Spurs fans seemed to think they have had a bid accepted for him too. Even though I have not seen it reported anywhere.... Think he is out of our league and out of spuds too
rovers1995 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Panic over. I know who the new striker is. It's really good. Are you ready? Really? Really, really? Up steps..... Jason Brown
