Absolutely not - we're doomed to anti-football whoever we sign.

But Pogrebnyak, Janko or Jones are better than Zigic. MUCH better.

You can forget about Pogrebnyak... he'd cost serious money and is out of Sam's price range.

from his past goal scoring record we would be making a far less risk than we did with RSC. he has scored where ever he has been and last year he scored 13 goals in 19 apps with racing santander. far better than cruz's record before he joined us!

So when the opposition defence hold a deep line to negate that, then what do we do?

You could argue though that if the defence are just as big and strong, then our tall striker could well end up struggling as well. Whats the point of having a tall striker, if nobody are going to latch onto that knock down.

We're a Premier League club for clumsy, hit shift + 8 again!!'s sake! Worryingly, more often than not, we think like a Championship team.

By breaking the wage structure at the club.... and Pogrebnyak would want huge wages.

The club has to operate within its means... isn't the club reducing its wage bill? :huh:
