Obafemi Martins - Agree id love it if we signed him

Signing Zigic (especially for £6m-ish) just makes no sense - he'd be a bigger gamble than any of the players mentioned above. Give me a one-legged Van Nistelrooy or a fat Vieri any day. Despite all this talk of a "tough market", the players are there. It's just unfortunate that Allardyce's fixation on playing The Worst Football In The World narrows our options to hulking great lumps.

Now now Hughesy. No need to get on Spencey's (7) back. It was only a friendly. We don't want any positive, going against the media stereotype, thinking outside the box thoughts now do we? Better to just criticise wherever possible I reckon. It's safer that way. Heavens, you'd think it was a Rovers Supporters web site or something sometimes.

Sorry for the late one, put it down to Squeeze and a brilliant cameo introduction from Peter Kay.

NEWS...not much...interesting to see Zigic fee being pitched highter than I imagined...don't think there is a queue here despite the '15 club' tosh...might be a hard one to negotiate with some of the characters lurking around the deal.

MAN CITY...are selling Ched Evans to Sheff U for a rather large £2.5 million...which is more than he is worth...and suggests Sheff U have sold Naughton and probably Walker to pay for him...he was never up to Rovers or Prem standard, so no loss there.

ALAN SMITH...as outlined earlier, old interest, probably being revived by the local Newcastle paper for [a] a story on a quiet day or to try and help Newcastle move him on...if he is signed I will have to pack this board in because I could not say what I thought of that as a signing.

Nicko, any news on Caicedo?

A possible loan to Sporting Lisbon was mentioned today.

Maybe Rovers could try him on loan...

if i am wrong i apologise for my stupidity and will blame it on it being so late in the day lol

but i think its been mentioned before that a team can only loan one player from the premiership at a time, IF ours will be Di Santo which would rule out caicedo as another option

im sure thats the rule?
