Hughesy Posted July 9, 2009 Author Posted July 9, 2009 Are these real Hughesy or is it like when you told us we had Stoke on the opening day... 1864 told us that - not me.
LeftWinger Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Being on 3 times isn't too bad. Those entertainers at Bolton are only on once - and that's only cause they're playing the mighty Rovers! Chelsea on 7 times!
LeChuck Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 1864 told us that - not me. Ah, fair enough. I was convinced we'd be on the opening weekend, I think Man City will be the team everyone is talking about come the start of the season so I thought Sky would want them on. Chelsea vs. Hull seems a pretty bland way to open.

I thought that aswell to be honest, and we still could be on tv on the opening weekend yet as we still have to wait for ESPN to announce what games they are going to show.
Hughesy Posted July 9, 2009 Author Posted July 9, 2009 Im suprised at that too - I really expected them to put our game at 12.45 on that saturday. Hope ESPN pick up our away game to United/ Chelsea - otherwise its an expensive day out ahead.
Ronin Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Hope ESPN pick up our away game to United/ Chelsea - otherwise its an expensive day out ahead. Official Rovers text says yes.
cn174 Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,...1717680,00.html Every game we play in October is on telly
champions1995 Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 I am also surprised that our home game against Man City is not on Sky, especially considering they put Chelsea - Hull on instead. It is the second time in the last two seasons that the season starts with a game which appears to be a formality, as Arsenal's 1-0 win against West Brom was the opening game last season. Why don't Sky choose an interesting game to get the season underway?

Sandiway Blue Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Good do`s,away to Bolton on my birthday! hope we get cheap tickets as i will need plenty of money for the beer......
Presty On Tour Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 Most of the early kick offs are for local matches. So how do we end up with Arsenal away at 1:30pm!
john-rover Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 is espn free or subscription? or maybe just subscription for football, would not surprise me?
Ronin Posted July 9, 2009 Posted July 9, 2009 is espn free or subscription? or maybe just subscription for football, would not surprise me? £9 if you already have Sky Sports / £12 without http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2009/jul/0...l-setanta-bskyb
Hughesy Posted July 10, 2009 Author Posted July 10, 2009 Bolton not happy with TV snub. Both Bolton & Wigan have only been picked once for live TV by the end of November.
Tris Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Bolton not happy with TV snub. Well ... nobody wants to watch all that long ball crap do they?
Majiball Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 Being on 3 times isn't too bad. Those entertainers at Bolton are only on once - and that's only cause they're playing the mighty Rovers! Chelsea on 7 times! When paying £45.00 a month I should be able to choose which game I watch, like on the continent.
IAN57 Posted July 10, 2009 Posted July 10, 2009 I'm amazed that the dingle game isn't at 11 am again. Still give it time, mr Plod will have to have his say.
ffan Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 For those of you that cannot make the Blackburn Rovers/Man City game it is being shown live on Setanta Ireland.
