A poster on an other site who works at Ewood ????? says a certain Papa Bupa Diop was there today.

Feel free to shoot the messenger, my armor is on.

I live on the same street as the stadium and saw nobody around today. Even John Williams who is at ewood every day and parks his car in the same spot wasn't here. Surely he'd have to be around if a new signing was getting shown around. I presume that Mr Williams was at Brockhall with Di Santo

Di Santo confirmed on Chelsea site

Franco Di Santo has this evening joined Blackburn Rovers on loan until January 1.

Thought it was a season long loan, I'm not happy now

F***wit365.com show their true colours.

15.43: .....and Chelsea youngster Franco Di Santo is in Blackburn for talks about a season-long loan.

Official text has confirmed the loan signing but only until Jan 2010 initially.

Cool on Rovers site now, we have first option to extend the loan to the end of the season if Chelsea don't want him back.

It's a shame we don't definitely have him till the end of the season but the positive side to that seem to be that Chelsea really rate him and are almost a little unsure whether to loan him at all. Maybe the duration was what caused the delay.

The 20-year-old Argentine makes the move to Ewood Park from fellow Barclays Premier League side Chelsea on loan until the January window, with Rovers having the first option of extending the deal until the end of the season in the event that Chelsea do not wish to recall him to their squad.

You need to look harder! John was in the office all day, pictorial evidence on website ;)

Happy days, WTF till jan only guess its in case he doesn't make the first team oh well we can always extend it if its all going well.

Ellingtons trial has become clearer now.

No. He was a good player but has lost his best form. Sell Grella first. He is useless.

Give grella a chance lets see how he gets on this year, cause no-ones going to sign him at present.

Loan until January is fine. It's just to cover them incase of injuries etc. Don't worry people! 4 good quality strikers on our books now.

Lee - was Diop around then??

He must have parked it in a different spot then cos its normally behind the jack walker statue.

Thing is chelsea will recall di santo if he has a brilliant half season, then we will have to sign someone else, with no money

6' 4" why not are set plays will be awesome. Samba Nzonzi Di Santo and Kilinic with a few 6 footers thrown in.

6 foot ain't big anymore.

We need a 7 footer...that'll shake em.

Disappointed that its only till January.

If he plays well, what odds that he will be recalled?

Who are Chelsea's strikers? Drogba, Anelka, Shevchenko and Sturridge?

+ Kalou. And Drogba and Kalou are probably heading for the African Nations cup again in the January-February whenever it is.
