Kranjcar Wants Out

Seeing as a few of you would like to see Kranjcar here - interesting to see that he's going to leave Pompey after this season. I'm sure they'd take the money and run if someone came in for him now with a reasonable offer - won't be Rovers unfortunately.

Isn't Zenden like Rothen, a wide rather than central midfield player?

I would say we're already overloaded with (arguably mediocre) wide players, we need a really top class central midfielder who can get hold of the game by the scruff of the neck.

Zenden's played centre mid for the last few years as his pace dropped off (he had a fair bit of success at Boro in that role I recall). Though I suspect this is the time to invoke the three club rule again.

Seems the only one who would fit the current needs and will not need a WP as he has an Italian passport (allegedly) or family members that do.

Harsh....Mokoena never got so much stick and he was awful. Worst player i have seen in a rovers shirt since Omar Konde.

Mendes from Rangers should be looked at that is for sure.

Kranjcar says he won't sign a new contract at Pompey and will move for free in the summer... love to get him at Rovers, but I suspect if he moves for free he'll end up somewhere bigger and better than little old Ewood. Unless Pompey can be persuaded to cash in early.
