No offence I think Warnock is quality really rate the guy but i'd be livid if we paid a double figure for him, we won't do either, we need other players and sticking 10m on full backs when Boumas back in a month or two would be dumb on our part.

I think it would be a bad move to let Warnock go and replace him with older players. Warnock is a positive influence on the team and unless he throws the toys there is no reason why we can't stand firm on this.

If we had our eye on a quality central midfielder and we needed the money, I could accept that I think. Jacobsen has played left back in his career so could be backup to Givet and Salgado - sounds good enough to me.

I wonder how much Cattermole will be going for? He moved at the same time and for the same price as Grella, it'll be a useful yardstick for how badly Ince ###### our money up the wall.

I think we have to work in his versatility - as things stand he is likely to start in midfield against City. I would also be worried about Givet at left back as our only option (unless Sam thinks Olson can finally make the step up).

Personally I would agree - around £10m - not the best left back in the world - but always gives 100% whichever position he plays in.

I will be furious if we sell him 'our best midfield option at the moment,' to replace him with older players that may not settle in the premierleague.
