Are you sure? :P

Played great today again, linked up well with the midfield and he was brilliant for his second goal, started and finished the move. Hopefully, we'll now see him ahead of Di Santo in the PL.

2 against villa, 1 vs chelsea. Another vs villa (fa cup). SURE he had another somewhere?!?!?

Its not just his goals.

He gives his all, he links up play well, he holds the ball up well, his 1st touch has improved massively, he creates his own chances, he has a knack of being in the right area when the ball drops.

15 goals + a season striker if a starter each week!

Will someone tell him we are playing Wigan in the cup next Wednesday please.

Did OK tonight, is improving, but then again your not going to improve sitting in the stands.

:rover: well he's not a grabbi,or a ward he's now a blake.the 1st goal was going knowhere till warnock got his bounce on it.the 2nd was a true strikers goal.:brfcsmilie:

I'm honestly believing there is no-one better we could have bought for £6 million now, especially as he's only just turned 22.

He has everything that you want from a main striker; first touch, eye for goal, good in the air and on the ground, strength, work rate, good attitude. Still a few rough edges to polish but he's coming along nicely.

When you look at who else went for £6 million in the summer (Frazier Campbell, Christian Benitez etc), it highlights just what a good signing he is.

I think he's my new favourite Rovers player. :)

I know it was inevitable but the commentator last night said that people in his homeland were liking him to Davor Sukur and you can certainly see the similarities. Good on the deck, great first touch and handy in the air.

I think he's going to become a big player in both the Blackburn and Croatia squads.

Scores and then is taken off..... wow!

I think Sam had already decided to change the front line before Kalinic scored - so maybe he was committed to it. At least, well it should have, got Kalinic a standing ovation - if it wasn't for the boo boys.

Brilliant player. Really beginning to live up to his billing from Bilic. The future of Rovers and of Croatia.

Don't get your hopes up, he'll be moving on in a few years for twice what we paid for him. Quality player, as I said from the start. Give him service and he'll bag a hat full.

He looked really dangerous when he had support but that pretty much died away after our goal. If we can find a way to create more chances for him or support him more then i think he has the potential to score a lot of goals. His work-rate is excellent but I'm still not convinced the lone striker role is his best position. I think having a decent striker alongside him could get the best out of him.

Sam got lucky that the substitution wasn't before the corner was taken.

Always thought he would come good, well done lad, the touch when he brought down a Robbo special in the first half was world class.

Once again - another very good game from him. Never stops running, his hold up play is awesome and he links up play too.

Hit the post & scored 1. So 6 goals in 10 starts now is it?

Said it from day one and still think it now - this boy has bags of talent....6m looks a very good bit of business.

Can we at least enjoy it while he's at our club??? Why do people always have to put a downer on it?

He was fantastic last night, I'd love to see him in a 4-4-2 formation with out and out wingers (one being Olssen).

Can't think of many teams that play that way now so don't hold your breath. It's a pretty outdated method of playing to be honest.

It'll be interesting to see what those people think about him now that kept making jibes like 'waste of money', 'next Grabbi' etc.

I gotta say, hes has to be one of the most unluckiest players ive seen in the last few months!! How many times has he hit the post, bar or had a shot saved spectacularly off the line??

As long as he keeps getting himself in those positions i am hopeful he will make his own luck!!

Well...now that's he started scoring goals, playing well and starting on a regular basis.

I hope you don't think that bit was aimed at you! (it wasn't aimed at anyone in particular)
