Big Fat Sam Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 If they want them they should get them at least till jan, provided brown is staying till then. Treacy could really benefit from some pitch time. Bunn would also come on as well and he does look like he's got some potential.

Hughesy Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Treacy stuns Sheff Utd manager - 30 yarder last night apparently!
Stuart Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Treacy stuns Sheff Utd manager - 30 yarder last night apparently! Quality comment from Blackwell: “What a goal to equalise with. If that was scored anywhere else in the world, you’d just take your hat off. "
herbergeehh Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 For those of you with a RoversPLAYER subscription, you can enter the same username+password to check out other team's highlights. Makes it easier to check out the loanees; just finished watching Treacy's great strike against Leicester, and his two assists before that. Log in here
Hughesy Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Maybe you could just send me your username and password then?! No point us all buying it...................
Neil Weaver Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 You can also see it via the BBC......... here
JAL Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Wasn't as impressed as the rest of you by Bunn yesterday, he seemed to lack height and had to punch a few balls that others would have caught. Still a good achievement to keep a clean sheet against Boro in that league, hopefully he ill stay for the rest of the season and then return ready to challenge Robinson. Treacy was disappointing, I felt he got bullied out of the game quite easily. It was interesting to campare with Boro's Johnson, who Sheffield tried to bully while he just danced around them with his skill. Two homegrown talents looking miles apart. For me if Rovers needed a back up goalkeeper, I'd go for that huge Hibernian keeper. He looked more than capable for me definitely one Rovers scouts should be watching over the coming season.

JAL Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 It isn't the one who played against us was it? He couldn't kick to save his life! If he middled the ball we wouldnt see it again it would be out the ground hes that big.
Exiled_Rover Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 Oh he's big? Snap him up then. Better yet bring Duncan Ferguson out of retirement and give him some gloves.

hollowsr Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 If he middled the ball we wouldnt see it again it would be out the ground hes that big. But he doesn't he couldn't get it out of his own half all game It's been good and bad for the loanees so far today. Judge and Marrow have both scored for Pymouth and Oldham respectively, but Treacy has had to come off for Sheff Utd as has Gunning for Tranmere. Shame for them both presume injuries for them both. Blackman has started for Oldham as well.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Lovely goal by Blackman today. Curled into the top corner.
rover6 Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Not going to happen - at least until January. Sheff Utd have the loan deal and will be able to bid low at the end of it, if they want him. We should definitely look to sell in January, though.
Presty On Tour Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Cracking Sheffield derby, 3-0 United at half time and now 3-2 with 20 odd minutes to play!
Tris Posted September 24, 2009 Posted September 24, 2009 Mickey Gray's blog on the Sheffield derby ... I felt quite relaxed in the tunnel and had a bit of a laugh with my old team-mates from Blackburn, Keith Treacy and Andy Taylor, asking if they were nervous. Keith looks like he's just got out of bed every time I see him so I asked if he had brushed his hair with a toffee apple, to which he replied: "Shut it, old man."
Silencio Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Sheffield United fans seem to think Keith is doing really well: http://boards.footymad.net/forum.php?tno=4...;mid=2124533156 I wonder if the experience he has gained will mean he comes back ready to play for us...
bennyboyt11 Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Think we can do without him to be honest Bish, might as well get a fee for him.
rovgers Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Just read that Tracey's sustained an injury on saturday, one that could keep him out for upto 9 months.
rover6 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Criping cripes! There goes our chance of earning money for him, doesn't it? I think his contract expires summer 2010. Edit: Yeah, thought I was being a bit callous, so I should add - a shame for him because he seems to have found some form with Sheff Utd. It was good that he was proving me wrong - I thought he wouldn't cut it in the Champ.
LeftWinger Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Just read that Tracey's sustained an injury on saturday, one that could keep him out for upto 9 months. http://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/football/Sheffield-United-sweat-on-Treacy.5684392.jp Says he's having a scan at 5pm to assess the damage - but could be 6 to 9 months. A bit of a shame for the lad, as he seemed to have found his level.
Hughesy Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Let him go in the summer then........ Along with MGP.......And Brown.....And Judge......and Andrews.....
