RevidgeBlue Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 The game has suddenly taken on great significance now in the sense that we badly need a thumping morale boosting victory and for our shot shy strikers to learn the feeling of hitting the back of the net again.

Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 3-1 now. This is mental. What the hell is going on?
jodrell Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 It will be interesting what action the FA take and what saint Trevor has to say about the trouble. Hope they live up to there name and get hammered.
mrsjansen Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 There has been trouble betwee the 2 fans in he past so he FA should have insisted it was played behind closed doors. Just shown the scenes on sky news, one of the west ham players was laughing along with the fans. Disgusting.
Sandman Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 More fans on the pitch after WHam take a 2-1 lead in ET. Disgusting scenes. Why is it disgusting.

Hasta Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Why is it disgusting. Er, because there are a couple of hundred on the pitch abusing and threatening the Millwall players as well as the West Ham stewards.

Backroom Tom Posted August 25, 2009 Backroom Posted August 25, 2009 What? It's a disgrace, nothing less, like it or not football is now a family sport and this sort of thing has no place anymore.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 The end is gonna be bedlam. Hope none of the Millwall players get set on. Not like Burnley/Rovers either, no coaches to send the Millwall lot away safely.
patrickvalery Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Am i missing the sarcasm in these comments?
BlueWhiteDynamite Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 fans getting stabbed isn't funny, also if reports are true many real fans making their way to the game were also caught up in this. those with little kids leaving the ground wont know what to do. the guy with the long claret and blue hair at the end of the game with his top off, what a tool!! ban them all!!!!!
bob fleming Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Just watching some of those scenes. Unbelievable really, you go on the pitch, you get a banning order. Simples. That's how it works in East Lancs. Is it different in London? Not only that but who the hell are they selling tickets to? Non regulars rather than ST holders for a match against Millwall?!? There is no way that that ground should be full again this season. Grim stuff.

A couple of Man City fans were found guilty of encroaching on the pitch, I believe, but the Magistrates declined to invoke the requested banning orders-LT last week.
Presty On Tour Posted August 25, 2009 Author Posted August 25, 2009 SSN Highlights of West Ham v Millwall
Sandman Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 What? It's a disgrace, nothing less, like it or not football is now a family sport and this sort of thing has no place anymore. The less women at football the better. The more intimidating and nasty the atmosphere the better as well, football has lost all of it's passion because of this over the top nonsense, some people got on the pitch why the need to over react.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Aren't you a West Ham fan though? EDIT; Apparently not, never mind.

So it is alright for people to get stabbed by going to a football game? As someone has already said, this will probably cost England the 2018 World Cup, dreams destroyed because of your few "passionate" fans. This kind of behaviour is not tolerated in a civilised society, just because it happens near a big green picth with two teams playing in pretty colours doesn;t mean we need to suddenly start praying to the sun gods and hitting each other with sticks.

The stabbing incident happened away from the ground so why are you even bringing that up, i'm talking about the pitch invasion. The odd pitch invasion is a nothing incident and it's the over reaction to it that will be a problem. I'm not a fan of football hooligans either, i just think the way grounds are at the moment is on a whole pathetic and the next generation of football supporters are being lost because of it. Isn't the average age of the crowds in the 40's now compared to lads in their teens like it was for a long long time.
alexanders Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 playing in pretty colours Claret and blue are pretty ?? Sandman you are thick
