doctorryan Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Just so my fellow Yanks know: Last night ESPN and Fox S*o*c*c*e*r Channel in conjunction with Setanta concluded an agreement for "the Deuce" (as ESPN2 is sometimes called here) to air the early Saturday and Monday Night matches here in the USA. They will also do an occasional 10 AM (3 PM GMT) game on Saturdays when there is no early kickoff. That's 4 games on live at the same time. Take note.

dew22 Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 The HD was wonderful on the Deuce this morning. Switching to Setanta hurt my eyes afterward.
RoversFanUSA Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Thats great news! We just setanta so we can watch the games but if there's an HD game on I'd rather watch that then fuzzy setanta
Rovers in America Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Great news...apparently we're not in the plans though for the first set of games ESPN has selected... Sat., 7:40 a.m. Chelsea vs. Hull City Sat., Aug. 22, 9:55 a.m., Wigan Athletic vs. Manchester United Mon., Aug. 24, 2:55 p.m. , Liverpool vs. Aston Villa Sat., Aug. 29, 7:40 a.m., Chelsea vs. Burnley Sat., Sept. 12, 9:55 a.m., Liverpool vs. Burnley Sat., Sept. 1, 7:40 a.m, Burnley vs. Sunderland Sat., Sept. 26, 7:40 a.m., Portsmouth vs. Everton Mon., Sept. 28, 2:55 p.m., Manchester City vs. West Ham Don't get why Burnley gets 3 straight games on there and Blackburn isn't included at all. Makes me hate ESPN even more.
