imy9 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 We have NO MONEY, all of this signing a "mind blowing" player is pie in the sky stuff. IF we sign another player we will have to sell first, good option? Thought not.

Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Oh FFS all this cryptic sh1t is doing me in, will someone throw their (informed or not) guesses in the ring
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 It's based on kelbo having a feeling in his loins. And my sauce.
BuckyRover Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Balls. My guess was Macca. I thought Robbie had put a good word in. We will see. (Awaits deadline day melancholy)
deryck guyler's spoon Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Ok i never really believed that we were done just yet with the window, it didnt make sense sell warnock for 8 and buy chimbonda for 2 and no way was sam going to keep the remainder till jan. So all this talk of a mindblower is based on what? a bentley driving away from ewood or does someone have any real info? Mr Bentley wont be driving anywhere for at least a year
rovers1995 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 We have no money left, I believe Sam on that. The rest of the money from the sale of Warnock will have gone to sort our debts out. IF we get anyone we have to sell. The only person worth selling is Samba. No thanks
RovertheHill Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 It's based on kelbo having a feeling in his loins. And my sauce. The devil makes work for idle hands Where's the professional when you need him?

IF we sign another player we will have to sell first, good option? Thought not. So out of around an 18 mill diff between bought and sold we have no money, im not debating wages , agents , sell on clauses , and stray cats that need neutering if rovers have no money check my pockets! That means that this year alone we were 18 mill in debt and the year before with the sale of bentley and friedel we must have been in bad shape too, football is no longer a sport its a business and not even a good one for rovers.
imy9 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Sam himself has said there is no money even for frees or loans! Nicko has said that noises coming out of the club suggest this to be the case. I do not expect to see another new signing, if there is one it will be because we have sold someone, which is something we should not do.

JoeBlueWhite Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 So Nicko said... "Officially business is over..." but we have pages and pages off how we are going to buy Spanish Int midfielders, Beckham, Riquelme etc What kind of madness is this ?
imy9 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Not even Benni? A proven PL striker? How many of those are out there? We will get what £3 million for Benni, what do you get for that money in this market? Even Chopra cost £5 million!
BuckyRover Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Maybe the very big stories are a little harder to crack.
doctorryan Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I do not expect to see another new signing............. So then why don't you stop monitoring this thread and cease posting on it.
imy9 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 So then why don't you stop monitoring this thread and cease posting on it. Because strange things happen and as a Blackburn Rovers I have 'hope' "Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies." - Shawshank Redemption
BuckyRover Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Yeah imy. I have had a few drinks and I am daring to dream. I'm going to enjoy it. Hasn't happened for a while.

Well you cant blame fans for thinking we are owed a few more players, 18 mill is a lot to just to just balance the books for 1 season, maybe if we didnt keep losing our best players fans would be happy with like 1 signing.

BuckyRover Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Red: [narrating] Andy Dufresne - who crawled through a river of s**t and came out clean on the other side. Shawshank Redemption
cravenblue Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Hope? Let me tell you something, my friend. Hope is a dangerous thing. Hope can drive a man insane. Shawshank Redemption. fresh fish fresh fish fresh fish

Backroom Tom Posted August 28, 2009 Backroom Posted August 28, 2009 'Brooks was Here' Shawshank redemption If we were to get a midfielder in surely it would be Rothen seeing as a deal was agreed and possibly even a medical done in advance
BuckyRover Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Not exactly mind blowing though is it? It wouldn't be anything to get excited about (sorry Jerome)
1864roverite Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Rovers actually do have another asset that some greedy little Southern Monkey wants his hands on. Harry R would like Robbo back at Spuds. He must be worth at least £5m plus. he is better than his last stint at Sours and is a whole lot thinner
