Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I believe it goes on to 5pm all over...and probably beyond. Oh joy!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Rothen was over at Rovers for a 'test' and the deal fell through...draw your own conclusions... If it was a 'test', there won't be a resit. Coleen it is. He's just not mental enough for Big Sam.
Dunnfc Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Collocini that Newcastle Defender is supposed to be leaving today, some say hes going to Villa after being withdrawn from the squad last night. Any truth?
EwoodGlory Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 He's on International duty, which is why he didn't play.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 We could do worse than Nolan, always seemed willing to get stuck in, decent range of passing and knows where the back of the net is, unlike the rest of our midfield. At having just turned 27 he should be near his peak. Granted he's slow but then we're used to that! Would definitely be an improvement on Andrews/Grella. In fact together with Dunn would add some real drive to the midfield. Regarding his apparent hatred of Rovers, he's a footballer - he'll be kissing the badge within a week
67splitscreen Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 TICKER UPDATE... Middlesbrough won't be buying Hulse after being quoted £4 million. Why would they???? calm down it's still early.
Eddie Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Ah good point. Can't we get Rothen for 2 years? That would be acceptable to me. Although it would be better nearer 30k.... Rothen is a left sided midfielder, do we really need another one of those? Nolan isn't good enough in my view, but at least he's the right position.
S15 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 If it was a 'test', there won't be a resit. Coleen it is. He's just not mental enough for Big Sam. That's it, if you can't open a burning Petrol can with your teeth, whilst smoking a menthol cigarette, find another club mate.
doctorryan Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 How can someone who has seen so little of Rothen be so desperate to bring him to the club? I've seen enough, but it looks like you're going to escape the bet. Ah good point. Can't we get Rothen for 2 years? That would be acceptable to me. Although it would be better nearer 30k.... If the French & Scottish press are to be believed, we can have him on a 1 year loan with a buy option of less than £1 million.
Eddie Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I'll extend the bet to him being largely unimpressive even if he gets to play for Rangers.
rovers1995 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I don't think that anything is going to happen at Rovers today. It's very quiet around Ewood today.
philipl Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I believe Rothen wasn't even close to being good/fit enough when Rovers looked at him.
JMillZz Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Rothen has agreed a deal with Rangers I think. With Bentley off to City on loan makes me wish we could get him on a similar deal
doctorryan Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I'll extend the bet to him being largely unimpressive even if he gets to play for Rangers. What he does at Rangers is irrelevant.
Eddie Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 What he does at Rangers is irrelevant. Well if he can't impress with a good side in a bad league then he'd struggle to do so here.
gumboots Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Rothen has agreed a deal with Rangers I think. With Bentley off to City on loan makes me wish we could get him on a similar deal I thought City were buying him?
alexanders Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 May make their effort to land Keef stronger? 11.04 Sheffield United midfielder David Carney has joined FC Twente, the Championship club have announced.
rovers1995 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 The English and Scottish transfer windows are the only ones still open. I think it's safe to say that Benni is staying.
American Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 The English and Scottish transfer windows are the only ones still open. I think it's safe to say that Benni is staying. Love how that comes right after a posting of Twente buying a player from Sheffield....
jonv Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 SSN: Pompey and Rovers both in talks with midfielder Bolo Zenden. Has this been covered? Sorry if has.. but just saw it then.
budha Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I'm only repeating what it said on Sky. The Dutch have extended theirs too.
alexanders Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 11.22 Ajax have confirmed the loan signing of Inter's Brazilian attacking midfielder de Souza Kerlon. 11.15 Real Mallorca have sealed the loan signing of Paulo Pezzolano from Liverpool de Montevideo. The Italian and spanish as well?
