Did pretty well against West Ham at home last season with the equaliser, and definitely does better than Reid (not as if that's saying much....).

I have herd Pantelic joined Ajax on a free, guess that closed the door on Benni.

Seitaridis joined Genoa, not going to Everton after the window shuts, Lucash must be favourite for that one now.

I remember hearing something similar, but that we called them up and said "we want one of your players, and we're willing to pay £5.25m". They accepted, reasoning that they couldn't turn that money down for anyone, and instead of it being for one of their star players (Eranio ringing a bell) we asked for Dailly. Has to be up there with Newcastle giving us money for Souness or Palace buying Kuqi for £2.5m.

Daryl Murphy of Sunderland likely to join Wolves on loan...and NOT Hull or Ipswich...

Daft thing about Zurab is that two Championship clubs are thinking about moving for him after the window shuts, taking him on loan, which is no good to Rovers right now...and getting cash for anyone else.

The Pantelic to Ajax thing is right...but they were still sniffing round Benni as late as last night...

To be fair, Kuqi did see out his contract at Palace and they wanted to sign him this season, but didn't have the cash for his wages (was a heck of a sale by us, though).

Villa would have to be buying him...I don't see Spurs loaning him out just now...Everton would be in strong if that was the case...

That would be pretty amazing. If its a loan that is possible. If they want a fee then it isn't (unless the goalposts have moved).

£12 million at least...the 'loan swap' with Man City for Petrov would have been a consolation prize...simply loaning him makes very little sense.

Bentley isn't really David Moyes type of player... Villa or City makes a lot more sense.

Moyes has been in for him...along with about 50 others, mind...and he just missed out on the talented but tormented Banega...
