rebelmswar Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 And somewhere over in the States, rebelmswar is doing a little cry.

brian_gallagher85 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 SSN are flogging so many dead horses this afternoon it's unreal
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Nicky Shorey to Pompey apparently off.
niggit Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 SSN are flogging so many dead horses this afternoon it's unreal They have to make it look good
brian_gallagher85 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Strokers Mum has just got her phone out
RIML Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 They have to make it look good They're showing Big Ben now, like that makes a difference We all know it ends in less than 10 minutes that's another thing they've done to try and make it look good.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Is it just me thinking that Pompey spent loads of money on a bunch of duds. Coming from Southampton, I think it's great. Keep up the good work Hart!
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Coyley best hurry up if he's signing someone, not heard a murmur yet and we've got 8 minutes left.
JAL Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Extremely dissapointed we havent added a bit of class to our midfield. We have no creativity if/when Dunn gets injured again. Looking forward to seeing a back for of PC CS GG MS but i can see alot of 0-0 games this season! Totally agree 'Hi Mack' very disappointing, in fact a bleeding disgarce. You dont need your coaching badges or pro licence to see that Rovers needed this type of midfielder. To put all our hopes on a guy whose only been able to complete 12 games in two season or so doesnt give one much hope about Rovers fortunes for this season. How high can we kick the ball !
brian_gallagher85 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 The pigeon was last spotted flying over Birmingham ...aw poor strokers can't get through to "his people"
rebelmswar Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Coyley best hurry up if he's signing someone, not heard a murmur yet and we've got 8 minutes left. Probably because it is someone no one cares about to a club that even less people care about.
1864roverite Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 I am not impressed at all thaat Rovers haven't offloaded some more deadwood nor have signed the central midfielder we so much need. At least we know Benni Mac must stay with us for a few more months, lets hope his fat ar$e gets in gear and he scores a few before the next transfer window opens.
rovers1995 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Benni McCarthy has lost weight. He will score goals and I don't know why he gets criticised. He scored the goals to keep us up last season.
joey_big_nose Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 If you look at the expenditure we have had a very good window largely. Good experience, some exciting players. In defensive areas we are much stronger than we have ever been I think. However the issue is if Dunn gets injured then we are in a really sticky situation. We have nothing which will create chances, apart from some shaky Pedersen and Diouf crossing. Hoilett, Di Santo and Kalinic are going to have to make their own opportunities. It's impossible to say at the moment whether they will be any good at that. Hmmm, Van Heerden could maybe do a job in the role Dunn played against West Ham. Not convinced at all about him though. It is possible Sam rates him, and the intention is for him to deputise for Dunn. But I rather think he was a bit of an opportunistic signing who will struggle to make an impact.
brian_gallagher85 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Newcastle sign....their own player in the dying minutes
bellamy11 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Woops. I meant doctorryan! Not sure where that came from!
sambo Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Its all over The constant talk of who Spurs are interested in is finally over...
brian_gallagher85 Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Not just yet.....Tottenham Pompsurs are signing someone with a reg. plate ending in MWU according to SSN.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
philipl Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Amazed all the Spuds moves collapsed. Very pleased Rovers did nothing- far rather have Benni and Zura than Nolan.
Hi Mack Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Just seen that on SSN aswell! Well embarrasing. wonder who Clitheroe are signing a car outside with ME551 on its number plate!
LeChuck Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Apparently Burnley have managed to get a striker in on loan. News coming from Hull as well apparently.
mogster Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Nugent to Burnley? Someone joked about that earlier on. Sky Sports Andy reckons it's true
Eddie Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Tell you what, wouldn't be the worst loan signing ever. He seems to be to be a player who just needs a fresh start.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Nicko, just out of interest, where there any bids for any of our players today which got rejected?
