Guest ErinBrown Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Gary Megson? Absolutely hated by his own fans from what i have heard. Maybe finally had enough? Burnley beating Manu 1 nil. What the heck?!

Al Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Yeah cheers, that's what I initially thought. Geez, git wi' times everyone. Back to school soon.
67splitscreen Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I'm sure nicko is going to have a big for us tonight.
brian_gallagher85 Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 I don't even think he'll show tonight he's either; 1) Getting ###### with Coyle on Fergies vino or 2) being carried out of Turf Moor after collapsing with shock!
Eddie Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 whoever mentioned that biglia chap from anderlecht should be shot ! what a donkey Try watching more than one game.
Hi Mack Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Would a player plus cash offer for warnock possibly involving Reo Coker not be interesting. We need a midfielder with some get up and go. Does he not suit the bill. If the cash was 7M+ Reo Coker...............we'd be foolish to say no!
hi-jaq Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Try watching more than one game. Agreed... I have only seen him in a few games and a handfull of videos on youtube, and although he seems a little lightweight, he is a top class player!!!
blue and whites Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 wasn't nicko supposedly going to name tha guy whi is in on trial after tonights games? or am i wrong?
Fylde Coast Fan Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 wasn't nicko supposedly going to name tha guy whi is in on trial after tonights games? or am i wrong? Nicko went to Turf Moor, I assume - he didn't post after the last game he went to until gone midnight, calm down.
Backroom Tom Posted August 19, 2009 Backroom Posted August 19, 2009 As long as he doesn't mention that bloody gap
blue and whites Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Nicko went to Turf Moor, I assume - he didn't post after the last game he went to until gone midnight, calm down. i am calm, not sure if that is what i read or not, that simple..
Fylde Coast Fan Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 i am calm, not sure if that is what i read or not, that simple.. You could always go back about two pages and read it again.
nicko Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Steve Gohouri. Centre half. Borussia Munchengladbach. Ivory Coast. 6ft3in, quick and strong. And, I hear, coming your way on trial...possibly even arrived. All the best...just off to watch Match of the Day. A few times.
Fylde Coast Fan Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Obligatory wikipedia check claims he's currently without a club after making 45 appearances for Borussia in 2 years, and that "In December 2008, Gohouri was being linked with a move to Premiership side Stoke City and was also supposedly being tracked by Premiership side Arsenal F.C." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Gohouri 28 years old.
Hughesy Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 6ft 3, tall and quick - Samba Mk2 Enjoy it nicko................is my cheque in the post for that pic you used?!
47er Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Steve Gohouri. Centre half. Borussia Munchengladbach. Ivory Coast. 6ft3in, quick and strong. And, I hear, coming your way on trial...possibly even arrived. Obvious question---why? Presumably Zurab is off. Better not be Samba.
47er Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Lets bring back BENTLEY!!!!!! Great call! Everton supposed to be sniffing at 6-8M. That's a gift for someone of Bentley's talent and a massive loss for Spurs. The only deal I'd be content to see Warnock move on. Would strengthen us like no other. Come on Bentley--get your England spot back!
owenrilla Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Some second hand info on Gohouri: "He is a strong and aggressive CB with good pace, but at times questionable positioning. He acts like a SB, with the skill set of a CB He can put together quality in his long passing, although not very often. His 1st touch is comical at times, but he is really strong in his aerial challenges, and rarely gets off balance in general."

Worst case, he's Mokoena. 28 is a bit old to be learning, but all that will come out in the trial.
Guest ErinBrown Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Enjoy it nicko................is my cheque in the post for that pic you used?! His Wikipedia page hasn't got a picture. You know that as a copywright holder of the picture you can add it to his profile. A perminant memento of our little discovery and moment in the media spotlight!
tashor Posted August 19, 2009 Posted August 19, 2009 Obvious question---why? Presumably Zurab is off. Better not be Samba. If Warnock goes to Villa then Givet is our LB so, ipso facto we need a new CB.
Brfcrule1 Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 hi all, from nicko's article please tell me this is not true http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Black...icle123149.html please tell me we are not going to sell our prize defender he has been amazing up front & in defence Sam if the toffees or spurs come sniffing please just tell them both to do one. Always happy to play wherever never complains and unless he chucks his toys out of the pram we should not even entertain the idea of selling him. to my knowledge he has not even put in a transfer request! so should be a non-starter.
AggyBlue Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 All the best...just off to watch Match of the Day. A few times. I bet United are crap every time you watch it too

This, as well as Warnock, simply shows that Sam is a realist. We can't afford to reject all bids, everyone has a price and IF someone happens to make a very large bid for Samba, it seems we would rather have a replacement lined up than turn it down and never get that kind of money again. There's no mention of a serious bid for Samba. There's not even been a serious bid for Warnock yet, either.
