I thought Sam said no more signings. Well if that is what you will reveal is happening. I hope the worth the wait is not Burnley signing my Luca Toni :D

We can't get anyone else on loan from the Premier League. Di Santo takes up our 1 player allowance.

Where in the rules does it say that? The following are the main rules around limits of loan players (taken from the Premier League rules PDF):

7.5 the maximum number of Temporary Transfers to any one Club registrable in the same

Season shall be 4 and in no circumstances shall more than 1 be from the same Transferor

Club save there shall be excluded from these numbers any Temporary Transfer of the

kind described in Rule M.7.6.1 or M.7.6.2;

7.6 not more than 2 Temporary Transfers shall be registered by a Club at the same time

except that there shall be excluded from that number:

7.6.1 any Temporary Transfer which become permanent; and

7.6.2 the Temporary Transfer of a goalkeeper which in its absolute discretion the Board

may allow in circumstances it considers to be exceptional;

Bearing in mind that we are skint and big Sam has said that Salgado was his last bit of business, I would be surprised if we are signing anybody.

I think Nickos news will be more about other teams, like villa and everton buying defenders, thus keeping their filthy mits off our players

surely it must be about transfers... seeing as this is the transfer thread... and god help anyone who dont post something related to transfers here.

I hope its nothing to go with Warnock, even though i rate Givet higher nowadays, i still think Warnock is a player we need to keep hold of.
