Heard an odd one tonight that Salgado had gone back on the deal. Wrote it off as complete nonsense at the time. Still don't think it's true but thought I'd mention it just in case there is somethng in it

I don't think we'd be printing photos of him with the Rover shirt on etc as well as officially announcing it unless he had signed a contract so as far as I can tell he can't go back on it even if he wanted too.

After Salgado's own comments on SKY I think he would make himself rather than anyone else look a complete and utter clown if, having agreed and signed a deal he went elsewhere.
