American Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 I'm guessing the F365's knobheads definitely view this site then, it's change since Nicko put it on here. Aren't we a little full of ourselves. There were actually 2 articles, the mediawatch one and the transfer rumor one, which Nicko was quoting earlier. They didn't change the transfer rumor one last I checked.

Hughesy Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 How do you reckon? He had a big-money switch to Spurs and the brief spell and return at Sunderland wouldn't happen if he hadn't kept his big wages. If you think last seasons account for anything look at our high earners which has either been out of form or injured. I also can't see Chimbonda as a left back, I guess he must be the utility man and a specialist left back coming in. When Chimbonda left Wigan he went to Spurs on 30k a week. Since then he failed, moved onto Sunderland, where he was unsettled and then moved back to Spurs just 6 months ago. £30k per week is surely the max he will be on after his last 12-24 months. I think Warnock will be on 40k a week at least.
nicko Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 F***IT365.COM DISAPPEARS UP OWN BACK PASSAGE SHOCKER. Shocking 'Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is making a shock £1.5million swoop for Tottenham's unhappy Pascal Chimbonda,' writes a startled Alan Nixon in The Daily Mirror. Shock, eh Alan? Was it as shocking as when you wrote in The People on June 7: 'Allardyce...is interested in Tottenham's Pascal Chimbonda'? Or as shocking as when you wrote in The People on May 31: 'Tottenham are keen but want to throw players into a swap deal. French right-back Pascal Chimbonda may be part of the package'? Or when The Daily Mail reported on June 12: 'Rovers are interested in Tottenham defender Pascal Chimbonda'? Or when Sky Sports.com reported on July 27: 'Skysports.com understands Blackburn Rovers are considering an approach for Tottenham Hotspur defender Pascal Chimbonda'? Or when....oh, you get the idea. SO LET'S GET THIS STRAIGHT...I AM GETTING STICK FOR BREAKING THE FIRST INTEREST IN THE PLAYER, FOLLOWING IT THROUGH...AND THEN BEING SURPRISED WHEN IT CAME BACK ON YESTERDAY...AS WERE MOST NEUTRAL PEOPLE... ANY CHANCE OF THESE PEOPLE GETTING REAL JOBS? PROBABLY NOT.
Saahil Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 who cares about them nicko... what are you like 35 from 36... more importantly who is the 2nd guy we are supposed to be signing today??
nicko Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 who cares about them nicko... what are you like 35 from 36... more importantly who is the 2nd guy we are supposed to be signing today?? I settle for anything better than 1 in 20...
alexanders Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Just spoke to a Spurs friend of mine. He rates Chimbonda a lot and say he can play everywhere in the back four.
rovers1995 Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Did Sky just say that a fee of £3 million has been mentioned for Warnock? I will be disgusted if that happens.
Sandiway Blue Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 For me its blatantly obvious that Givet will go to left back which leaves Salgado/Chimbonda for right back/centre back.I really can`t see Chimbonda at left back.
Flopsy Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Nicko, i think they were taking issue with the 'shock' bit, considering it had been mentioned previously, its not a shock. If you ever use the term 'ace' about some two bit useless journeyman reserve player, i shall hunt you down and beat you with wet herrings
hollowsr Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Did Sky just say that a fee of £3 million has been mentioned for Warnock? I will be disgusted if that happens. I thought he said that as well, it was from the reporter earlier outside Man City. Thought I just heard it wrong at the time. Sounds like useless reporting
mark Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 our defence is bloody good to be fair, and all good teams start building from the back, just like when Sparky took over here. lots of work to be done but i just can't help having faith in Sam.
Danish Villan Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 I cant see Sam getting his hands on that money. I say Reo Coker and 5mill for Warnock. I know Reo Coker aint the best, but im desperate for a midfielder. *waits to be ripped apart for that comment* Would not like NRC to go. I rate him. He has lungs beyond anyone. That guy can run. He was every were against Liverpool.
67splitscreen Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Did Sky just say that a fee of £3 million has been mentioned for Warnock? I will be disgusted if that happens. Did they not also say there was hundreds that invaded the pitch last night.
Sandiway Blue Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Would not like NRC to go. I rate him. He has lungs beyond anyone. That guy can run. He was every were against Liverpool. So can headless chickens....
Ricky Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 Skysports are saying the fee for Chimbonda is in excess of 2m Nicko, any idea what the actual fee is. I know you mentioned 1.5m which sounds like a good buy.
benhben Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 For me its blatantly obvious that Givet will go to left back which leaves Salgado/Chimbonda for right back/centre back.I really can`t see Chimbonda at left back. What about Jackobsen? Very sad to see Warnock go, but a good centre mid is arguably more importiant that holding on to a good left back. Who....I have no idea.

If you ever use the term 'ace' about some two bit useless journeyman reserve player, i shall hunt you down and beat you with wet herrings 'Shock' as in surprise that the interest was back on because it had been off the radar for weeks... It's a newspaper term, which some of these tw*ats would know if they had ever been able to keep a job on a newspaper. Still, it keeps them off the streets. Skysports are saying the fee for Chimbonda is in excess of 2m Nicko, any idea what the actual fee is. I know you mentioned 1.5m which sounds like a good buy. I think it's £1.5 million but you never know how they dress these things up when pay-offs to players or other payments are included. Hearing he is on his way...but I don't think Pompey have given up on this one yet. So, let's just wait and see. It is VERY busy right now. Everywhere.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted August 26, 2009 Posted August 26, 2009 It's a newspaper term, which some of these tw*ats would know I don't think you've quite got the hang of this censorship thing.
