I am happy to see Warnock move to us, but I would rather pick another teams betters players. I feel that you are very much in the same situation we were in before Lerner came.

I really think it is a shame that money rules football the way it does.

Saying all this I hope Sam puts the money from us to good use.

Good luck this season - I will still be lurking around :-)

I've not been overly bothered by Warnock's exit. I can see the pros and cons.

But when he was paraded, holding aloft the Villa scarf, on Channel 5 before the game tonight, I felt a little bit sick.

BUT players come and go and life (and Rovers) goes on!

My wife's a bit gutted because he has lovely thighs apparently :o

Buy Stefan Ishizaki at Elfsborg, he has the creativity we need in midfeld....He was class against Lazio!

He was a great player on Championship Manager 01/02.

There are a lot of good players in Sweden at the moment! Tobias Hysen at Gothenburg, Anders Svensson, Emir Bajrami and Stefan Ishizaki at Elfsborg and

Molins at Malmo FF!

Elm joins AZ for €3m :huh: now that does sound a good deal.

Yes but I watched him tonight against Lazio and everytime I've seen him play he's been class! Outstanding performerance against Braga earlier this month! Ok I know he's playing in the Swedish league but he's got pace and is a creative player! He will be 27 this year so his not too old!!!!

Come on Sam! Spot something now!

Well once again Rovers saves a players career, and he drops us like it hot. I suppose thats football, but it saddens me to think thats the only way we know of doing business. Bellamy, Bentley, RSC and now Stevie W. If those 4 were as loyal as Toogs, then we would have been a very solid squad. Oh well im still remaining positive, and think we can still finish in the top 10

he's only 30. whats the reason of giving him just a 2year contract?

Because if you look at his track record, it is likely he will be off in a year anyway....

If those 4 were 30 / 31 when they signed like Tugay then they probably would still be here. I'm with you though Iceman, top half isn't out of the question.
