I didn't equate it at all (although i'm very fond of Tesco's Vanilla cheesecakes). Point remains, just because someone really really really likes a business, doesn't mean they have access to their investment plans!

Jimmy, we're going to have to agree to disagree on this one. I wont have it that an accountant or some nomark from Jersey, neither of whom give a flying **** about Rovers, have access to the minutiae of the goings on at OUR club whilst the likes of me get told the square route of **** all. All of this whilst we witness Rovers being asset stripped within an inch of it's Premier League existance.

When football is just "like any other business" then I'll give it up and do something pointless like watching F1.

I'll concede that history might state that you have a point. The board might be liquidising as many assets as possible in order to reduce the selling price to attract a QPR / Notts Co type of investor. Whatever it's still nowt to do with us and nothing we could influence much is it?

My guess that I talked about earlier is mind blowing.

There is a Madrid connection and it's not Van van Vaart.

I also don't think it's a spaniard. It came from the mind blowing term, because initially I didn't think there was any player that would feasibly join us that could also be considered mind blowing. Then I thought of the said player and he was the only one that fit the bill. I'm praying :)

1) not a chance

true. That was my initial, obvious guess. But afterwards I had a think about it and came up with another name. I haven't mentioned it because I know this thread is watched and wouldn't want to jeopardise it. Sam has been very coy and so will I.

Ok i never really believed that we were done just yet with the window, it didnt make sense sell warnock for 8 and buy chimbonda for 2 and no way was sam going to keep the remainder till jan.

So all this talk of a mindblower is based on what? a bentley driving away from ewood or does someone have any real info?
