hollowsr Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 We could really do with 3 points next week now!!
BPF Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 2 minutes of injury left... For a miracle Robinson 92nd then..
mogster Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I don't know how many of you believe in the Voodoo Hoodoo but it's West Ham next
BPF Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Our six million man missed an open goal in the last few seconds
hollowsr Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Don't want to get on the lads back but what a crap finish that was
Miker Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Hahahahaha come on... you cannot possibly look at that final shot of Kalinic's and tell me that his finishing is not poor. 1st game or not 1st game. N'zonzi has been on target with almost every shot he's made and he's a bloody 20 year old defensive midfielder from the French League Two!!
Balwer Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Why can't we just have an ounce of luck? Just once?
AggyBlue Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Kalanic misses by 40m....... Wow Open goal. That was his third straight forward chance
booth Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I take back what I said about Kalanic. Anyone would deserve a slating for that miss. Absolutely unbelievable match. Beaten by a far poorer team imo. Very frustrating.
jannerman Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 When we pass the ball we look like we might make stuff happen but there's a lot of balls flying up in the air all over the place Not that I know about these things but maybe the team needs more time to gel? Ideally make Villa (or whoever) wait till Jan for Warnock, with all these injuries that we do not need right now Problem with a lot of the doom and gloom is that we all thought we'd get something out of the first few games well if we don't stuff it up Wet Spam next week we'll be getting left behind Mid-table mediorcrity would be fine for me, as long as we don't have to fight all season imo
callumrovers Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 nikola kalinic = 6 million? I dont think so We should of stayed away when we knew Portsmouth were after him
Balwer Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Open goal. That was his third straight forward chance Second. The middle one he didn't get boot to ball properly with the defender in the way. The first and the last were awful.
yellowsubmarine Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Our strikers can't score. Our strikers can't score. Our strikers can't score.
Commondore Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Does anyone have any info on how Olsson did when he came on? He will have to play a bigger part in the squad after the exodus of Warnock...
Plastic Head Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Sunderland have been crap for years and still are. Bent is in good form however, but that's only one. With Andrews 2-0 Defeat. Without Andrews 2-1 win. Nearly right. Super Andrews strikes again. Who will rid us of this terrible Keith?
Balwer Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Nearly right. Super Andrews strikes again. Who will rid us of this terrible Keith? He was better than last week, not the problem today.
Hasta Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Typical Rovers away performance summed up by missing two open goals. Kalinic only had to hit the target and avoid the players on the line. Benni just had to hit the target with the header.
Saahil Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 you have got to be kidding.. we were all over them and couldnt finish our only goal this season has come from our left back, center back whatever... GUTTED!
Miker Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Does anyone have any info on how Olsson did when he came on? He will have to play a bigger part in the squad after the exodus of Warnock... He looks alright when attacking, but I'm not sure about defensively. He's too small...
mogster Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Hahahahaha come on... you cannot possibly look at that final shot of Kalinic's and tell me that his finishing is not poor. 1st game or not 1st game. N'zonzi has been on target with almost every shot he's made and he's a bloody 20 year old defensive midfielder from the French League Two!! Er, I think you'll find his team had just been relegated so officially it was French League Three!!
dazmaz Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 how the hell do we not have any points? 18 shots this week, 20 last week, really takes the ######.
