This fella grows on me every game. He seems so Rovers he seems to play with passion he can pass and defend I'm liking him more every time I see him. I also like the way he does not back down from anybody too.

Couldn´t agree you more. He seems to love playing football very very much. And he is a real pro speaking good things about Rovers. I really like this lad much.

Salgado is hard as nails he would knock you out without hesitation. He's earning his cash finally instead of yapping his mouth on skysports. Great player but can be exposed ( gareth bale anyone )

On top of his now excellent performances, I bet he's a brilliant character to have around the dressing room. I can't think of many better people Jones could be learning from in terms of attitude, professionalism and commitment.

I think one of Sam's major plus points is that he has a great record of finding these sorts fading stars who the fans can really take to, I think Bolton fans had similar admiration for the likes of Campo.

I'm really enjoying watching Salgado this season. He's really made right back his own now and I can't see anyone taking that position off him. He's a proper Rovers player.

What impressed me most was the fact that despite being tough takling and can smell fear he wasnt drawn into Nani's attempt to provoke him late on once he was on a yellow card. Most players of a similar style of play and determination would have probably been foolishly drawn into grabing Nani's neck or something of the sort.

Michael Jackson..hilarious. Took few seconds to get it. He really reminds young MJ.

Both he and Valencia are the spitting image of Jacko circa Thriller.

Valencia looks more like Jermaine.

Enjoying the Salgado love-in going on. I was always going to adore him, the fact that he's actually quite decent is just a bonus.

Salgado is pure class - as a Spain fan, I was very happy we finally brought in a Spanish player into the squad, especially a legend like Salgado.

We already had legends like Depedro and Yordi. Salgado must have felt the pressure.

EDIT. Depedro was indeed a class act prior to joining Rovers, unlucky it didnt work out.
