I know - I get little chance to go on it at the moment, which is a shame because I was getting into Uncharted. I will probably rent it and get the expansion if I get the chance of a few clear days on it!

Been playing through Unchartered today. Loving every minute of it at the moment (apart from a little snag earlier when I failed to judge a jump for about the 10th time) Now, I am not about to spoil the story or what happens for anyone but lets just say - and if you have got there you will know what I mean. Something has just happened to the way I am playing the game thats making me poo my pants quite allot - plus there is much swearing involved.

I wish I had a bigger gun.

ha ha , I know what you mean. Completed the game last week, one of the best ps3 games out there imo. The ending was so so though.

I know what you mean i was the same at that point. Quality game, deffo the best I have played on the PS3. Can't wait for the sequel.

Cant stop playing Unchartered at the moment. The demo really doesn't do it justice. As soon as I start to feel like I am sailing through it the difficulty seems to go up a tad and I really have to start to chose when to use what gun and be careful not to waste to many bullets.

Just wish that in the heat of a battle that I didn't have to use the dam sinaxis to throw a grenade - I have wasted so many because of this.

Totally agree about that Cocker. Uncharted is one of the best balanced games that I have ever played, I love the fact that there are times that you are in pitched battles, having to use strategies to defeat the opponents and then there are bits where you have to work out puzzles, this interwoven with a superb storyline resulted for me as a superb gaming experience.

Ha Ha, to be fair, my strategy a couple of times after dying for the 50th time is just to run through the lot of em hoping not to get shot so that I trigger the next cut scene and hence saving my progress.

It may be the cowards way but I was going to cry at certain bits (would tell you which but I think it would spoil it for those not there yet - and you know why)

I am loving the game too - especially the set pieces - some of which are designed to an especially high standard. I just wish I had more time to play it!

Ok, just finished Unchartered and gutted. Wanted it to carry on.

Its a lovely game and anyone who has a PS3 must play this at some point - its a must.

As the guys above have already said Uncharted is a must have game for the PS3. I hope they make the sequel a little bit longer though. The one thing that breally makes it stick out for me are the believable characters and acting

EDIT: Actually, a friend has CoD4 so I can just borrow it from him. I was thinking of Uncharted and thought the demo was good. Is the rest of the game as impressive and is it decent length?

Also, can someone make sure the game has subtitles on the menu, the demo did so I assume the game will but not risking another Assassins Creed fiasco.

out of that list both drakes fortune and cod4 are both excellent games - I havent played orange box but to me it dosent look up to much but is value for money and should keep you going for a while - Portal I am told is a fun little game in its own right.

I am 90% sure that Drake has subtitles but cant be sure about cod4. If no one else checks for you first I will check both when I get in from work tonight and let you know.

Don't get Orange Box on PS3.

It has quite bad frame rate issues according to the reviews I have seen.

On the 360 it's brilliant however. TF2 is amazing online and Portal is one of the most ingenius games I have ever played.

And I only paid £19.99 for it on Shopto.net

I have heard a few rants about it having frame rate issues however, these are from the same people that said Asassins Creed on PS3 had framerate issues and I didnt have any so dont know what to think

Going on to talk about the sequel though, I think that it would be cool if they let you drive the jeep or the plane. The thing about indiana jones style tomb hunting is that there could be a danger of - havent we been here before. To be fair though, from the noises coming from naughty dog this is only the tip of the ice berg so the next one should be ace too - I suspect though that they might throw out a jak and daxter game first though.

As you will now know then unchartered does in fact have subtitles - as does COD4 (Just check both)

Yeah, but the problem is that I have games to trade and also vouchers. I know, it makes me angry when I buy a game, finish it in 2 weeks and then have to take it back and get half of what I pay. And I know there is ebay and the like but I just cant be bothered. I am in town and I can have a new game - simple.

It's not on offer or anything, was £44.99 so price hasn't really dropped a great deal to be honest. I agree with the comment about being in town, I'm in the town centre all day every day so might as well just buy and trade.

Saw Stuntman for £23 in HMV. Now it's gotta be terrible seeing as they are all £40 or higher. I'll try the demo and if I like it I might buy it. For £23 it won't be a disaster if it is crap.

Seriously, though at least this one is promising. I wish Sony would ban any developer making yet another poor first person shooter and only let ones like this through the net.
