Have just acquired a ps3 and will of course be ordering GTA 4, any good deals on pre-order? All seem similar price doing a quick search but any freebies on offer?

Just completed COD4 - Unbelievable game, just too short in single player.

Has anyone else played the sniper level in chernobyl? Utterly butterly brilliant, especially in the camo uniforms.

Last weeks update was the first decent update in about a month anyway so no worries there. Over the coming weeks I couldnt care less about whats on the store because there are enough games coming out to keep me busy - at looooooooong last.

Yes there is. Its in all the stores.

I can't seem to see it anywhere. Are you sure you didn't misread because I can't see a demo, just the downloadable game?

Be warned though. The demo of the demo (if you will) isnt that good. You get 1 track to drive (not race) around and it dosent feel that good. Every time you beat the lap time it will give you another car to play with though.

I will have a look tonight. They may have taken it down now though as it was up there from the first week the PS3 was out so they may just want people to pay for the new demo instead of downloading the demo of the demo (I love saying that you know)

I had a browse last week and couldn't see anything in particular then so the boat may have sailed. If that is the case I'll have to go and borrow a copy of Prologue off my mate.

Get it running online mate. Its top on there, mind you, you have to up your game to stand a chance.

Its meant to give you a taste of what is to come. To be fair to it, it is a bit more than a demo what with the online racing that comes with it but £25 for 6 tracks (I know you can get it cheaper but I am talking to download from the store) its a rip off. The main game is about a year away.

It's an extended demo of the game basically. It's got loads of great cars, a few tracks and it's visually stunning. A lot of shops are selling it for around £19.99 and i've personally paid more for games which aren't half as good as the GT5 demo. I think a lot of PS3s are now including GT5 as part of their bundles.

although i dont have it, and probably wont get it, at least not until the full game is out, i did think it was also a complete rip off but then my flatmate pointed out that there are 6 tracks and however many cars which is just as much as what u would find on motorstorm

Your flatmate makes a very good point there

Plus, I dont like the argument people make that you can download extra tracks for it though because if I am paying £50 for a game I wouldnt mind having those tracks in the first place the cheeky beggers

Dark Sector is out now which looks good but I can't really buy another game as I have only just picked up Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 - which is a decent purchase too.

Some may also like Condemned 2 but as I have said somewhere else, I am too much of a girl to play it.

Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 is a very good game :B It's the first one of there Tom Clancy one's I've ever played and I have to say it is a very entertaining play

I also love the cover options in the game, which you'll be happy to hear Cocker, are to be included in GTA4 - according to the NOW at the weekend

How good is the PS3's backward compatibility with PS2 titles. Does everything work or are there exceptions.

Also how would I go about carrying my saved info for the PS2 games onto the PS3. Does it read old style memory cards or would I need to start from scratch?
