Apparently Matthew Le Tissier's autobiography admit's he was involved in an attempted betting scam where he tried to kick the ball out straight from/after the kick off but it was scuppered by an opponent stopping the ball from going out.

Am I imagining things or didn't Rovers have a couple of games when the ball was deliberately kicked out straight from the kick off a few seasons ago?

Rovers tried the tactic that a lot of teams use of putting the ball long down the left wing and never get anywhere near it.
