LeChuck Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Tom Wrigglesworth is worth watching, not keen on any of the rest that I've heard of aside from Ed Byrne, but he's nowhere near as funny as used to be.
Sandiway Blue Posted September 15, 2009 Posted September 15, 2009 Might go to Al Murray, even better as its the day before my birthday!
RovertheHill Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 Stephen K. Amos tonight. Downgraded from the main hall to the Windsor suite downstairs. Anyway - I thought he was very funny - better than I expected. Pretty good reception too all round. Although there was a woman not far from me who didn't crack a smile once. Takes all sorts I suppose
JC4LAB Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Too expensive allround.and dont look like a festival to me...a festival should include lots and lots of smaller cheaper, even free acts scattered around the pubs and other venues in Blackburn..
bobsterbrfc Posted November 5, 2009 Posted November 5, 2009 Out of curiosity did Mr Amos rip into the venue/town he had frequented the previous evening?
RovertheHill Posted November 6, 2009 Author Posted November 6, 2009 Out of curiosity did Mr Amos rip into the venue/town he had frequented the previous evening? He ripped into Blackburn, Jersey and Halifax - I think he'd recently played Jersey and Halifax. But quite a lot about Australia too
