Amo Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Congrats to Lars on his new addition. Here's hoping Salgado is sharp enough to deputize.

Blueboy Downunder Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 does anybody have any details of live commentary? other than that of radio rovers. or if somebody would be kind enough to allow me to use their radio rovers log-in..that would be great. i am in the mountains in northern peru....some help would be very nice.
Steve Moss Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Here's hoping Salgado is sharp enough to deputize. Salgado is so sharp, the air bleeds when he stands in a light breeze.
Guest Wen Y Hu Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I'll be happy if we can keep a clean sheet today. A draw will be a decent result, but I fancy us to score a couple. 2-0 Rovers, please. Dunny from the edge of the area and Salgado with a snorter of a 40-yard cushioned header.
1864roverite Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 got a good pic on that country that invaded kuwait tv
American Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 I'd have played Chimbonda Nelsen Samba Givet, Thought at first you were saying you'd have played had your wife given birth the night before!!
ElTwis Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 does anybody have any details of live commentary? other than that of radio rovers. or if somebody would be kind enough to allow me to use their radio rovers log-in..that would be great. i am in the mountains in northern peru....some help would be very nice. Try Radio Merseyside mate
G Somerset Rover Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 **** sake. "Awful defending" is how Sky Sports described it.
Mr. E Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 to individual that posted that "special" reply to my post: Honestly, take a look at what you're doing and consider wheather you may need some counseling. Otherwise it is a bit sad and rather disturbing that you spend your time searching through 4 years of post history. Anyway, we hit the top post and a second later Saha scores. As you were.
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Just seen a replay, shocking defending.
Hughesy Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Very good save by Robbo from Pienaar - who was offside, but not given
Stoic Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Sounds like Salgado's having a shocker. Why not start Emerton at right back?
John Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 He let an Everton player too easily past him in the first few minutes, and not 100% sure if he was directly at fault for the goal, but Salgado has looked very poor defensively so far.
Fife Rover Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Sounds like Salgado's having a shocker. Why not start Emerton at right back? Or better still get Salgado off, move Chimbo to RB, Givet to LB, and bring Nelson on.
Iceman Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Seems Salgado is having an Ooijer type 1st match.
texasrover Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Or better still get Salgado off, move Chimbo to RB, Givet to LB, and bring Nelson on. I agree. Salgado is getting torn apart.
modes98 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Very poor defending from the free kick. We are playing pretty well other than that, had a couple of good chances. Who ever had the bright idea of sticking Stephen Reid on Radio Rovers deserves shooting. He hasn't actually described any of the game so far. Just about what players are like in training, etc.
yellowsubmarine Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Salgado looked like a lost sheep out there. Our midfield was just non-existent.
Wing Wizard Windy Miller Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 looking at the rovers.co.uk blog it looks like Everton V Dunn - is Roberts playin????
John Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 This is awful now, need to get Salgado off I think, real shocker - too slow, but we knew that already.... We are not forward in their half that often, but look quite dangerous when we are! Set pieces causing a bit of panic
BRFC1995 Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 wish barry horne would shut his biased mouth. half time salgado off surely...v.poor, need chimbondas pace to nullify pienaar.
booth Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 looking at the rovers.co.uk blog it looks like Everton V Dunn - is Roberts playin???? According to SkySports... Everton: Howard, Heitinga, Yobo, Distin, Baines, Osman, Rodwell, Cahill, Pienaar, Fellaini, Saha. Subs: Nash, Hibbert, Jo, Gosling, Yakubu, Agard, Wallace. Blackburn: Robinson, Salgado, Samba, Givet, Chimbonda, Andrews, Grella, Diouf, Dunn, Pedersen, Roberts. Subs: Brown, Nelsen, Emerton, McCarthy, Nzonzi, Kalinic, Hoilett Referee: Lee Mason (Lancashire)
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 20, 2009 Posted September 20, 2009 Has Roberts done anything yet? Seems with Roberts you need him at 100% and being a real menace otherwise he offers nothing. Like Fife, John and others have said i'd take Salgado off, he's getting ripped to shreds. Move Chimbonda to right back, Givet to left back and bring the admiral on.
