Wolverine Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 I would rather have an anonymous Benni, who at the end of the game has bagged himself a few goals. Thats the thing that irritates me with our fans. We would rather have Ince in charge (waggy and Spencey), than Allardyce(who kept us up). We would rather have Roberts than Benni. I just cant quite work these things out sometimes. God-given right of every Rovers fan It allows us far more scope to complain. If we ever win the Champions League you can guarantee there will be bloke in a flat cap interviewed by Sky who say " 'bout bloody time" and sulks off.

RibbleValleyRover Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 65 MINS: Two great tackles from Jones, he's having a real stormer. I like reading this. He is only 17 right? Born in 1992. Sounds like he is having a decent game fruck- Forest pen, Reidy handballs
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Radio 5 Live Sports Extra said Jones is having an okay game....not putting a foot wrong but not doing anything great either. Damn, Rovers given away a penalty.
JAL Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 No. Better later in the half and early in the second half. Sams just subbed his fading 'hasbeen', doesnt look good at all what a waste of money.
mogster Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 It sounds like young Phil Jones is having a great game. It's great to see a youngster coming through with confidence. Oh bugger - a penalty
Tim Southampton Rover Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Brown - SAVEDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
LeChuck Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 We know for a fact Benni can't play on his own up front, so how would everyone line up against Villa? I agree that he should be starting though. I'd keep him alongside Kalinic, put Dunn back into a more orthodox central midfield role alongside N'Zonzi, with Diouf and Pedersen out wide. For everyone worried about Brown beforehand (me included), sounds like he's done us proud tonight!
CrazyIvan Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Sams just subbed his fading 'hasbeen', doesnt look good at all what a waste of money. Bugger off. You're a miserable person. PEN SAVED!!!
Backroom Tom Posted September 22, 2009 Backroom Posted September 22, 2009 People will still moan about Brown though
Presty On Tour Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Will Brown and Jones be starting Saturday then?
92er Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 Even better, Andrews is warming up to come on.
