philipl Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Fags and booze cost middle-aged men up to 15 years of life. Never smoked, only drunk in moderation, getting tummy fat under control, I'm doing my bit to better my chances. How are the rest of you?

Alex Rover Posted September 19, 2009 Posted September 19, 2009 Having gone through seeing a couple of my Grandparents living to a ripe old age because they were physically healthy but their minds weren't, I don't think I want to live like that, at least for the sake of the rest of the family. It's no way to live and there's not a lot you can do about dementia or the like and being physically healthy just prolongs the worst. I suppose you have to take your chances though, as as long as you can keep your marbles, living longer and being healthy with it is the way to end your last few years.
JC4LAB Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 The say married men have longer lives than single ones..Aint so..its just feels longer...a lot longer

broadsword Posted September 22, 2009 Posted September 22, 2009 You probably will live longer, it's just that at the end you'll wonder why you bothered.
