Stuart Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Kits grow on me along with the quality of the football, last seasons kit at first didnt look that good, but now it looks great. The red black halves is a quality classic away kit for me, put white socks with it instead of the coloured ones and that would have been even more impressive. Always remember the great AC MIlan team and white socks with their red and black striped kit always a must for red and black tops. I guess there's a lot more variation with away kits. I have to say, despite my dislike of the black Crown logo it does look good on the red/white halved away strip. Ironic that this one wasn't on sale. I would definitely have bought one!

Steve Moss Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 49.9%, after I instructed my 4 staff to go to the site and vote. Couldn't shift my 2 partners, though. I think they think I've gone nuts.

Someone in town during the summer was sporting a yellow and black halved football shirt, this for me, on viewing, had me thinking that this was definitely, definitely, had to be, must be next years away kit it looked absolute quality, a shirt that displayed ALL the characteristics of a Rovers shirt - two famous halves. Arte et labore.
American Posted November 14, 2009 Posted November 14, 2009 Our home kit is the best in the league, however, our last two away kits have been horrible. This season's kit isn't too bad, but last season's was one of my favorites.
Stuart Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 51.7% and it closes today. Get voting - even if you don't like our kit. We can't be beaten by Sunderland!
Mc Love Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Away jersey is cack at best - anyway you can give half a vote?
Iceman Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Away jersey is cack at best - anyway you can give half a vote? Lol. The away shirt aint that bad. The crown logo, looks much better than that big black box on the home shirt.
mellison24 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Lol. The away shirt aint that bad. The crown logo, looks much better than that big black box on the home shirt. The crown logo on the home kit should be the same as on the away kit imo. It'd look MILES better.

mellison24 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 I agree and it should be in red on the home! here's hoping next years away jersey is alot better I'm in 2 minds about the away kit. As a football kit, it is AWFUL. As a shirt, it looks pretty damned good though. Esp' with jeans!!.....I'll stop my Cok1 impression now.
Ninjathunder Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Both shirts are the worst two since we came back up, though not as bad as the hell of uhlsport.
mellison24 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Overall, Kappa were my faves!! BUT I think Umbro had our best effort with the red and black halves. So simple, so perfect. That with the crown logo (as per the current away kit) in a light grey would be awesome!
Kandevil Posted November 16, 2009 Author Posted November 16, 2009 I think we won. We did, through to next round with: Man City, West Ham, Spurs, Arsenal, Burnley, Pompey/Chelsea and ManUtd/Hull.
cn174 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 Not Rovers, but if we do go down the halved away shirt route again, we probably shouldn't go for a fully halved kit like Racing Santander. It looks rather odd! http://www.realracingclub.es/archivos/imagenes_contenidos/3029_2_orig.laceweb.jpg
