Steve Moss Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 A win of any sort would be perfectly acceptable.
eddiewac Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Is there only one person taking the phones at the ticket office??? There doesn't seem to be a queueing system, just get the busy tone! The onerovers website isnt working either!
Cocker Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 phones just engaged all the time. I would have thought some holding queue system would be nice. Its going to be a long morning of redialling
American Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Only 2 seats together I could get in the BBE are around where I normally sit when I'm there! 01 - Row 16, Seats 1 and 2. Thought I might have problems because I only went on this weekend to update my address, but no problems at all. Very helpful guy on the phone and the whole thing took less than 10 minutes. Edit: that includes 5-6 minutes on hold in the queue.
Manc Rover Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Ronnie Irani just said on talksport "the big rivalry in Lancashire is Burnley v Preston...It would be incredible if Preston got promoted and them two teams played each other." FAIL!!!

eddiewac Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 yea I can't get through at all and I've been trying since just before 9, just constant busy tone, no queue system, and the onerovers website isn't working, brilliant
Cocker Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 The queue system has just kicked in. Nice. Boat Booked Hotel Booked Just a match ticket to go. Fingers crossed.
eddiewac Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Has it?? Hasn't for me! Maybe the queues full
Cocker Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Yep I think thats what happens although getting worried again. I had the initial 'please hold and someone will be here soon' being played but now nothing. Not sure if I should hang up and try again

We're in the Fernhurst Saturday night. Edit: Don't hang up - you do go silent for a bit, but are still in the queue.

eddiewac Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Well this is fun, lets throw an engagement party I'm through!!!
Balwer Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Does anybody want to sell me their ticket? I've only been to away games before, not a home one, as I live in London. Therefore can't buy any under my account.
eddiewac Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 so its normal to have this gushing water sound for like 5mins?

OhmiBRFC Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Plus, you've had all season to at least buy a ticket for a game at Ewood.
Balwer Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I know what the chances of getting one are, but it's still worth a shout, so if there's a sudden illness or something (god forbid) then please let me know. I am desperate to go. Also it's not as easy to trundle down to Ewood from London as it is from surrounding Lancashire. Far more expensive too. Was saving my first trip for this one. Oh well.
OhmiBRFC Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 You should have just bought a ticket and not gone the game. At least got yourself on the database. Ah well, at least it is a lesson learnt

Ah well, at least it is a lesson learnt Probably would have if I'd known this was the criteria for getting a ticket to the Dingles game! Will definitely have one this year at some point so if the Dingles stay up I can go next year.
