unluckymorton Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Not worried either. 43 years and counting since our last top flight defeat to your lot... You've not been in the top flight for 34 years to be defeated. We're undefeated against Real Madrid, Juventus & AC Milan. That's a great record isn't it?

JAL Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Got to ask when was the last time we beat someone in claret and blue in the premier league, it does seem such a long time ago, in fact too long this has got to big Sams objective for this season and reverse this trend.
thenodrog Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Don't forget our 100% record against Barcelona: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ers/1487681.stm We beat em on their own midden a year or two previous to that if my memory serves me correctly. 3-1 perhaps?

Tony Livesey is a Dingle. That's why.
Manc Rover Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 Tony Livesey is a Dingle. That's why. You can see the anguish on hs face when he has to report a rovers win and the glee on his face when he talks abot us losing. Thick scruffy Dingle!
champions1995 Posted June 18, 2009 Posted June 18, 2009 West Ham at home 2005/06. Actually it was Aston Villa, as we beat them 2-0 at Ewood in the same season. West Ham was in December whilst the Villa game was in March. Bellamy and Todd scored the goals for Rovers against Villa.

trs Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Owen to cut his cloth accordingly. Is this an honourable and positive move for Premier lge football or is the lad and BFC being naive? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...ys-Burnley.html

Is this an honourable and positive move for Premier lge football or is the lad and BFC being naive? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/...ys-Burnley.html It's honourable and positive. Getting relegated would be crap, but doing it a la Newcastle, with players clearly not giving a **** and taking out £40k a week must be soul destroying. Anyway, it matters not. OC will now steer us to a top 10 finish. We are the saviours of modern football.

Guest benmaxwell Posted June 19, 2009 Posted June 19, 2009 Burnley have just placed a bid of over £1 million pounds on Swansea's striker Jason Scotland.
