RibbleValleyRover Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Ancelotti seems to have got Drogba and Anelka firing and playing well together. League title winners imo.
Clitherover Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Hate to say we told you so but....  Best get used to losing to teams in blue and white.
Big Fat Sam Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Ancelotti seems to have got Drogba and Anelka firing and playing well together. League title winners imo. I'd be waiting till about 7.30 before claiming Chelsea, I think the Gunners could give United a right pasting tonight.
BuckyRover Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Attempts: Chelsea 29-3 Burnley On Target: Chelsea 18-0 Burnley
UbuRoi Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Attempts: Chelsea 29-3 Burnley On Target: Chelsea 18-0 Burnley Do you realise rovers have only scored 1 goal against Chelsea in the last 8 games?
rover6 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Seriously, how stupid do you have to be to gloat about Burnley losing against Chelsea? This whole rivalry thing is played out with no brains whatsoever. Which is why, it is no surprise that it attracts the simpletons from boths sides.
broadsword Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Football thrives on rivalries, it'd die off otherwise. It's not going away any time soon, may as well get used to it.

Anyway congratulations on holding the mighty West Ham to a superb goalless draw, even moves you out of the bottom 3, if only we could have managed that we would be in a Champions League place now.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Do you realise rovers have only scored 1 goal against Chelsea in the last 8 games? Congrats, you know a lot about Lancashire's biggest football club. You inbreds have been giving it the big 'un on here since May so we'll enjoy your pasting today thanks. Whats more we got to watch with a few beers in the pubs around Ewood! Should have been six (at least) btw.
yorkyclaret Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Should have been six (at least) btw. They're saving that for your visit
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 Chelsea display aside, you looked like what you really are today Yorky boy.....Championship material.
Iceman Posted August 29, 2009 Posted August 29, 2009 They're saving that for your visit Dont they have Burnley message boards? It seems you dingles are on every Rovers message board. Thats kind of sad, dont you think

Thats kind of sad, dont you think Not half as sad as having never seen the team I claim to support would be. SG- not good today, but I am sure there will be other teams who get a trouncing there this season.
joey_big_nose Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 7 weeks till the derby. Burnley have started excellently. But I have a feeling it will all look radically different in the form stakes come the 18th of October.
thenodrog Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Anybody see the face of fury on the toothless hillbilly numpty as highlighted on MoTD? Bloody brilliant! Even the Beeb seem to delight in taking the p1ss out of the backward gits. Adrian Chiles is back tonight so he's sure to pick it out.
1864roverite Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 It was Rocky's brother/father/cousin and 3rd cousin
SamDingle Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Yorky and Longsiders are ok. Dont expect Sam Dingle to drop by for a while though! Still trailing in the wake of the super Clarets, spoony old son. Chelsea dished out some whup-ass yesterday. We tried to take them on, they were miles better than us and taught us a lesson. Fair do's. Still better than 'parking the bus' or not even pretending to try and win. Anyway, how's Fat Sam's hoofball coming along? All good I suppose, as long as you get results...
1864roverite Posted August 30, 2009 Posted August 30, 2009 Sammy lad, the banter is good at the moment, lets hope it stays that way. As we peddle slowly towards October 18th, just be aware that the bites are going to get bigger and bigger. lets save the "in our wake" campaign until after the derby at Ewood.
