UbuRoi Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 4 at Arsenal and 4 at liverpool I say Paul Ince. I say sam allardyce.
deryck guyler's spoon Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 You obviously did... http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,...1475765,00.html As I remember The Rags hadn't conceded at home for ages let alone three. You are obviously on the offish site as well as this one which is a worrying sign for you. As for Allardyce well, I'm not his biggest fan. That said, he is a battle hardened, effective, tough and very experienced Premier League manager which could never have been said about Paul Ince. Or Owen Coyle for that matter.
SamDingle Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Found this on another MB, there team was. Penny Ekersley Edgar Duff Kalvanes Eagles Gudjonsson Alex Ray-Harvey Guerrero Thompson Rodriguez Almost all are in or around there main squad I think, including nicko's little gem. Giddiness over a reserve team game.. desperate times down at Deadwood I guess. Of that XI I would confidently expect not one to start the next game at Liverpool. None of these started against Man Utd, Everton or Chelsea. So congratulations.. you've found your level.

Seems like you're the desperate one Bubba.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 I went to school with Alex Ray, good to see he's still progressing at Bumley. He'll make it somewhere, I'm sure. Best in our year by a country mile.

Some would have been on the bench or came on as subs in those games, so the level of your back up squad is what,? or maybe you think you can go another 34 games without injuries and suspensions.
waggy Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 the telewag went a bit over the top about this game, all the reporters are really pro lardarse and i would take the reports off this game with a pinch off salt,we can beat anybody in a behind doors game ,it what happens in the premier that counts

Shut up about 'doesn't matter what these results are'. They can do WONDERS for a players confidence!! I've seen it happen in my Sunday League team. We played a 'doesn't matter' match against another side as a warm up and won it (conveniently) 4-1. A lad who had never before scored for us, go a single scrappy goal. He went on to be our top scorer that season (this was about 2 years ago). NEVER underestimate the power of a win (regardless of opposition, game importance etc).

mellison24 Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Check out Vinjay's ramblings on here: http://www.blackburncitizen.co.uk/sport/45..._sinks_Burnley/ Gotta laugh!!
67splitscreen Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Someone on another Rovers MB has posted that VDM did play last night and played well.
Lee Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Fill yer boots: http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,...1786388,00.html Now fill the ground!
ben_the_beast Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Sorry if I'm just being a bit silly here but I'm struggling to think of a Rovers player with initials VDM The only one I could think of was Van der Meyde. Is he still hanging around?
AndyNeil Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 How many tickets will be given to Rovers fans for the Darwen End - 3,000 (the same as them)?
brightonrover Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Fill yer boots: http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,...1786388,00.html Now fill the ground! So, the 50/50 split of the Darwen End was correct. Any chance I can move from the Blackburn End just for this game Lee?!
Ricky Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Best get onto your sources preston blue, looks like they were wrong. 3000 on total split between upper and lower
Lee Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 So, the 50/50 split of the Darwen End was correct. Any chance I can move from the Blackburn End just for this game Lee?! Lower tier is sold out, so unless you are with an under 16 you can't get to the top tier either. How many tickets will be given to Rovers fans for the Darwen End - 3,000 (the same as them)? I expect so, the dividing line is down the middle! Burnley have the minimum amount, 10% of capacity.
rovers1995 Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 So when will we find out how many away games we have to go to to get tickets for Burnley away?
bob fleming Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 In view of yesterdays drubbing do they think they'll sell 3,000?
rovers1995 Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Why that late, we need to know now as people can't afford to go to them all and really want to go to Turf Moor?
Ricky Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 no, all the upper and 1/2 the lower. The turnstiles can be reconfigured. For any doubters of their (Sam for example) just wait and see this confirmed. Time to start digging lol.
AndyNeil Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Why that late, we need to know now as people can't afford to go to them all and really want to go to Turf Moor? Ever heard the phrase how long is a piece of string?
