longsiders1882 Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 You have two mega critical games coming up then. You absolutely have to win those home games against Hull and Brum. Keep those two beneath you and you are staying up. Agreed. Us and Pompey are still clear favourites for the drop so id we can keep hull and Brom down there below us gives us a real chance.

Hughesy Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Mark - Contact the club - despite the scare mongering, they should sort you out....If not, im sure someone on here will help you
joey_big_nose Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 oh balls, was on the other side of the world last season. might have to fire off an email pointing out how many season tickets i've had over the years and hope for the best! it's that or hope season ticket holders get priority to buy other tickets so that firends / family can sort me out. will be gutted to miss it... Oh, well if you have a history over the last few years you will be on the database certainly. I can't see a problem as they have been running that system for four or five years at least. Phone up and check.
unluckymorton Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Hope 'Mark' is not also a Millwall fan! The Burnley home match is attractive to even people who have never been to a Rover match? Maybe we should bundle this match with Stoke City and Pompey at £50 and call them the'Grisly 3' 'mhead' should work in marketing down at Ewood. The £50 Grizzly 3 would be quality!
Hughesy Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 3 for £30 didnt work - so nothing to say that those 3 for an extra £20 would work.....
only2garners Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 3 for £30 didnt work - so nothing to say that those 3 for an extra £20 would work..... I think the club think that 3 for £30 did work, albeit not as successfully as last year. What you have to remember is that many of those who took up the offer at the end of last season have bought season tickets this year at the new cheap rates.
mhead Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Hughesy...get into gear...I was being ironic. But sometimes stupid ideas catch fire! All I am saying is that over-attractive matches are teamed with less attractive to develop regular supporters.
sambo Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Will the BBE be stood up all game for this one? They better be..
4ever&ever Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Has anyone been able to transfer over to the Darwen End yet then for this game? I know there will be a good atmosphere for this one as we will all be compacted together rather than spread out like we are at the moment.
Ewood Spark Posted September 16, 2009 Posted September 16, 2009 Has anyone been able to transfer over to the Darwen End yet then for this game? I know there will be a good atmosphere for this one as we will all be compacted together rather than spread out like we are at the moment. This was brought up at fans forum last night ... NO transfers will be allowed for this game. Also worth mentioning that unreserved seating will still be in place for Rovers fans in Darwen End.

unluckymorton Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Will the BBE be stood up all game for this one? They better be.. Why should we be stood up for 90mins Sambo??? I sit on the Blackburn End and get behind the lads whether I'm stood up or sat down. If the 27 rows in front of me are stood up I'll have no option, but other than that I'll stand up or sit down whenever I feel like it. I don't think the young lad who sits behind me would appreciate looking at my back for 90mins.
roversmum Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 well done, Morton, you must be one of the few who considers those behind them...

unluckymorton Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Hope so. You sing better stood up! I also tend to lose my balance after a belly full of beer...
sambo Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 Well I'll be stood up all game, better atmosphere... Would be pretty embarrassing us all sat down in our main singing end!

FFS you`re a Blackburn Ender!!! .....you never know, you might even enjoy yourselves!! (btw.....on a similar note. Did anybody notice at Anfield, the entire Kop stands during games??? They stood the entire game last night & not a single steward or copper tried to make them sit. I`m all for standing at games, but shouldn`t a club with such a history of fan disasters be doing more to make sure their fans sit during games??? )
OhmiBRFC Posted September 17, 2009 Posted September 17, 2009 I also tend to lose my balance after a belly full of beer... Don't drink as much then
Steve Moss Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Drink more. Balance is optional. But take a cab or bus home.
stuwilky Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Would be pretty embarrassing us all sat down in our main singing end! You would actually be "embarrassed?" What an odd thing to get embarrassed about.

However I'm sure that a majority of us will be stood for most of the 90mins, hopefully celebrating a few goals. Does Cletus sit in NO1 by any chance??? I'm all for getting up and getting behind the lads but what I'm not into is being told that I would be a better fan by standing for the whole game! Another issue is that every season the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool come to Ewood and stand in the Darwen End without the police and stewards getting involved, my veiw is that they should start dragging them out one by one and they'll soon sit down.
CAPT KAYOS Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 my veiw is that they should start dragging them out one by one and they'll soon sit down. Doubt it - it will more than likely irk people into a remonstrative stand up policy and crowd problems On a further note only fuels to taking the enjoyment away from many and discourage them from attending again.

It was directed at the away fans who constantly stand every game Capt. Our lot are probably the best behaved around.

Do you not know that was all the fault of the police / authorities / opposing fans / Thatcher / Kelvin Mackenzie / Uncle Tom Cobley etc etc etc Now just remind me again ..... why exactly did we move to all seater stadia?
Hughesy Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Would be good to see the Blackburn End bouncing like the Besiktas fans the other night - that was insane......
