DanLad Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 MOTD should be interesting tonight with only two matches to show. We'll still be on last... Potentially, the pundits could sit there saying nothing (what's new), in complete silence for an hour, occasionally looking at their watches, before they finally say "Right, here's 30 seconds of Rovers against West Ham"
cn174 Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 We've made it to main match on Football First! huzzah!
Backroom DE. Posted December 18, 2010 Backroom Posted December 18, 2010 I wouldn't watch it if I were you!
Exiled_Rover Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 If Shearer comes to manage us I'm throwing my season ticket on the pitch.
Kei Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Too busy flirting with Gabby if tonights cringe fest was anything to go by.
Backroom DE. Posted December 28, 2010 Backroom Posted December 28, 2010 Tomorrow night, 3 more games tomorrow.
Mattyblue Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Which means our game will get a 30 second 'round up'.
Backroom Tom Posted December 28, 2010 Backroom Posted December 28, 2010 Stupid scheduling with 7 or so games today and only 3 tomorrow. It should have been on tonight.
Majiball Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 Stupid scheduling with 7 or so games today and only 3 tomorrow. It should have been on tonight. I'd take blades of glory over match of the day, anyday of the week.
philipl Posted December 28, 2010 Posted December 28, 2010 No MotD tonight? :!: Match of Yesterday tomorrow night.
McClarky Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The genius of the BBC is that fans of almost every team in the league thinks they are biased against them. We can't all be right can we? It's like when there is an election and all parties accuse them of bias when in reality they are just trying to be impartial and fair. It is actually Wigan who are offically on last most often.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 I think MOTD should take notes whilst watching Goals on Sunday. That's a great show for football highlights and football guests. They don't always show the big teams first either.
Mattyblue Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The BBC isnt exclusively anti-Rovers, just massively biased towards the 'big clubs'.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 The disappointing thing about MOTD tonight wasn't the fact that we're on near the end but the fact they choose to talk forever about stuff nobody really cares that much about. It's just annoying that they are quite happy to cut out great moments or superb saves in the lesser games just so they can spend an extra 5 minutes talking about Chelsea's boring game or Liverpool being @#/?. The only people who lose out yet again are the football fans. Thank god for Sky!!!!!

The only people who lose out yet again are the football fans. Thank god for Sky!!!!! 100% agree, who cares which team either Alan is tipping to win the league this week. Show us more football. It would be interesting to see the stats on how long off the MOTD program is related to discussion and how much to action. Also as Theno once advocated, bring back the timing clock too - what harm does it do?
Backroom Tom Posted January 1, 2011 Backroom Posted January 1, 2011 I wish the commentator on MOTD could at least pretend not to be delighted when Liverpool scored, impartial my arse!
Dunnfc Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Anyone see the football league show? Deepdale duck the preston mascot was been shown getting evicted from the ground!
Ozz Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Was it just me or was the camera work on MOTD last night very bad? The footage of Birmingham v Arsenal game was terrible.
Ricky Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Couldnt tell you either way oz, I was still flat on my back in shock that we were on before spurs!!!!
Stuart Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 Couldnt tell you either way oz, I was still flat on my back in shock that we were on before spurs!!!! You should know better than that Ricky, we lost!
gumboots Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 You should know better than that Ricky, we lost! And that ugly old woman, Bruce, dedicated his team's win to Big Sam! I've always disliked him and now even more so. You might be annoyed that your mate got the sack but that's private and highly disrespectful to the guy who now has the Rovers job. Totally lacking in class.
Ricky Posted January 2, 2011 Posted January 2, 2011 As said previously, all this high and mighty rubbish from a man who's jumped ship everytime a pay rise has been in the offing.
