Ozz Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 All the best Sutty. What are Lincoln like? Crap? Not too bad-They lost in the quarter finals of last seasons Champions League, to eventual winners Barcelona.

mellison24 Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 All the best to Chris!! Let's hope some of these players get to be good managers and indeed come and manage us JUST before they peak, eh? Sutton as manager with Jansen, Tugay and Hendry as respective coaches? *drools*
hollowsr Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I think that coaching staff would be almost unsackable from Rovers! At least until we got relegated to the conference! Not saying they'll be bad though.
Hannah Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Ian Pearce Assitant Manager! Ah!!! Bless him I'm disappointed that they didn't take over at Rovers last season when Ince went but if they get their grounding lower down the league we can have them in a few years time take us to the champions league final!!!!!!
Presty On Tour Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 Good luck to them. Doesn't seem that long ago when Sutton was the record transfer fee of 5 million! Those were the days
neekoy Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Still my favourite Rovers player of all time, guess I will need to start taking more of an interest in Lincoln City. Also have Jaime Clark as well which is a Rovers academy player.
riverside returns Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Good luck Sutty and piercey, hope all goes well in Lincoln. Up the Imps
RibbleValleyRover Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Good luck to Chris and Ian. On another note i see Wilcox has a new column in the LT.
Hannah Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Chris and Ian were doing their coaching badges together. They were on goals on sunday near the end of last season talking about. Lincoln are playing tonight but they are not officially in charge I don't think.
Blueandwhitemike Posted October 1, 2009 Posted October 1, 2009 I really liked Sutton as a player, I wish he'd not messed up his England career as he was definitely good enough at that time, it was a shame his post Rovers career didn't go better and he ended up playing in that inferior league north of the border. I hope he and Pearce do well. Weren't there some rumours about him being a bit 'strange'?
Silencio Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/jan/02/chris-sutton-lincoln-city Good article on Sutty here...
Leonard Venkhater Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Good luck Chris! I wonder if Lincoln are also a club "that deserves some loyalty"!? I don't give a damn about him.
Stuart Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 I wonder if Lincoln are also a club "that deserves some loyalty"!? I don't give a damn about him. You realise you are responding to a post that is so old it pre-dates Venkys?
Leonard Venkhater Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 You realise you are responding to a post that is so old it pre-dates Venkys? OOPs I do now! I withdraw it in total embarrassment!
Stuart Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 Don't worry, it'll be our secret. No one ever needs to know.
