Silencio Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Wouldn't be surprised at all. If he didn't have so many friends in the media there would be a lot more about how much he has shafted Portsmouth as well.
Sparky Marky Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Strange...He's come down to evens on Sky Bet, but nothing on Sky Sports website... :!:
LeChuck Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 If he didn't have so many friends in the media there would be a lot more about how much he has shafted Portsmouth as well. Could you elaborate? I haven't heard anything relating to Redknapp and Pompey.
Silencio Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Could you elaborate? I haven't heard anything relating to Redknapp and Pompey. Using Newcastle's interest to blackmail them into giving him loads of money to sign players they could not afford. Sure, it's not illegal, I just think he's snide. Of course, the board are even more responsible for allowing him to do it. Redknapp, Storey and now Dr Abu Dhabi. Portsmouth have had it bad haven't they?!

Blueandwhitemike Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 How will the media redknapp luvvies cope?
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 As I said on the premier league thread i would love it if he was sacked, hate Redknapp, hate Spurs. Very doubtful it will happen though.
Bazrakats Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 iv heard from a few spurs fans (regular season ticket holders) that hes being offfered the chance to resign or if he chooses not to be sacked by the board.. got to love spurs always shoot themselves in the face when things look up for them.
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Press conference at 5pm, so we should know if its true or just rumours.
Bazrakats Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Prob true then if it wasnt they could easily have just released a statement on the website some people gonna bea lot richer tonight.
LeftWinger Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 This of course happened with Benitez not too long ago. I really hope it's true - but can't see it. I'd suggest the 11/4 on Paul Hart to be the next one to go on Skybet is now an excellent price.

It's well worth a punt.
LeChuck Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Could Pompey afford his compensation and then more money to appoint someone else? They couldn't even afford to bring in McAllister as assistant.
Bazrakats Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 3/1 on brown looks like easy money.Portsmouth cant sack any one at the mo they dont even have any money for wages were they gonna get the money for compo.
bubblerrovers Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Press conference at 5pm, so we should know if its true or just rumours. Don't read into press conference, they always have one day before the match
Backroom Tom Posted October 2, 2009 Backroom Posted October 2, 2009 Hypothetically speaking if this was true I wonder if Coyle would be one of the names mentioned as a replacement.
Anti-Dingle-Brigade Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 I hope he is just to wind the Dingles up. But he won't leave Bumley til the end of the season.
test Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Has the Sun advert on tv been pulled? The one with Arry, Ian Wright and Venables. Now that is a dream team for the prison XI.
67splitscreen Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 Rumor on one of the spuds MB's he has been arrested this afternoon. Please be true.
Gav Posted October 2, 2009 Posted October 2, 2009 One can but hope! Redknapp has come out and denied the rumours, and he hasn't been arrested.
