Has anyone got a link to the picture of what was done lastnight at the dingledome???

I dont want to condone it, I just want to see it.

Since when was it okay to deface a statue that is a memorial of a passed man? Rovers shirts are fine, as that was the allegiance of Jack. But surely anything else is just wrong? The suggestion of paint above.....when that happens, I'll be ###### fuming and the people that do this (if they do) should be prosecuted for vandalism. It's similar to soldiers' statues as war memorial's! BRing of poppies is fine, but any other kind of defacing is just plain wrong and immoral!

Calm down. They stuck a Burnley shirt on a stature. How is that to "deface" a statue? No harm done and not in any way comparable to graffiti on the memorials of the war dead.

Some Rovers fans are making themselves look a little silly in their over-reaction.

It was a harmless prank albeit utterly unoriginal and unfunny. Certainly nothing compared to the legendary 1991 flyover...

I noticed the plane photo and unfortunately my memories not what it used to be, so can someone tell me what it says?? When blown up I can't read it.

Thanks in advance.

In the retaliation photo, why on earth did someone sacrifice their Rovers shirt for a cone??

One mug has been caught on one of them pics - look at the bottom, his face is pretty clear and im sure the police should be able to super-impose the pic.

Im going to see if its possible later when I get home.

Maybe a rovers fan could pull a similar stunt to Uncle jacks statue - maybe wearing the 5-0 t-shirt, with the plane stunt going over in the background......

The Preston Prat has gone for a 2-1 Dingle win:

These two sets of fans seriously don't like each other. There's no point dressing it up, and it will make for a cracking atmosphere, that's for sure.

The referee will earn his money and it will be a great game for the neutral because it will be frantic, end-to-end stuff.

You can bet on someone losing their head, there will be a lot of incidents and probably goals scored through mistakes. I'm going for Burnley to grab a massive away win.

Verdict: 1-2

Not sure if it`s owt to do with the recent stunts  but i noticed a police presence around Ewood today. One of the police`s new S-Max cars was doing a slow circular along Bolton Rd & up & down Nuttall St. I saw it on 3 occasions throughout the day doing the same route. I also saw it outside Uncle Jacks pub in Lower Darwen.

Maybe they`re just looking for some scrote for something else, but they were defo doing the rounds around Ewood Park

That tool Lawrenson has us down to loose this one. The link's below:

Given their shocking away form, and given we beat Villa at home with 10 men and had a promising first 60 mins vs Arsenal I'm not sure what the berk is basing this on. Regardless, it's just another sign we'll win.

I dont care about the JW prank, its harmless and nothing was damaged. It kept within the spirit of the occasion and considering some fools have gone over to Burnley and graffitied their stands i dont think we can really condone one and get angry about the other. If it gets one or two more voices going for sunday then it's worth it.
