There's no way we could buy him. Our only slight possibility is extending the loan to the end of the season, but with the african nations coming up and Di Santo's extremely impressive displays for us I don't see him staying with us

They might even win their appeal or they might want him for next season which means getting first team football at Ewood would be for valuable for them than if he returned and stayed in the reserves for the rest of the season.
