Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Roberts on for Di Santo. Well done Di Santo!!!!!!! He looked shattered. Well played. Good move by Big Sam. Roberts will run at them now whilst Burnley push up.

Bennisfromheaven Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 was that a pitch invasion on our left defensive side?? looked like someone being dragged off by stewards!!
Backroom DE. Posted October 18, 2009 Backroom Posted October 18, 2009 We've been quite poor this half. Passing, touches, have all been sub-standard. Good thing Burnley are crap.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Samba's price tag just went up another £20 million after that bit of skill
bigbrandjohn Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Emerton for Diouf. Solid performance Looks like Givet will be on for Chimbonda
Bennisfromheaven Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Reid really looks p*ssed off on the bench!!
Miker Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 It's ridiculous that we have got I think 3 yellow cards, one for celebrating, and 2 for complaining and Burnley have been tackling us from behind and kicking Chimbonda in the face and have the same amount of cards as us.

Miker Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 This is just terrible... surely one of the Burnley players deserves a red by now.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 12th in league now, 2 pts from Burnley with one game played more than us.
bigbrandjohn Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 Three home wins in a row, won the big one but lost the plot a bit in the second half
Backroom DE. Posted October 18, 2009 Backroom Posted October 18, 2009 A good result in the end. A win's a win. Had a blinder of a first half, looked a class above Burnley who never got going. Second half we were pretty bad. We're lucky we didn't concede earlier in the half, or I don't know if we would have held them off. A team of better quality would have pegged us back. Why can't we ever do things the easy way?! Delighted with the result and our first half performance. Di Santo was immense today, we'll struggle to replace him once he leaves. MGP had a good first half, nobody really had a good second half. Up to 12th! Good place to be considering our next two games. We had to win this one and we did.
Tim Southampton Rover Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 I bet that Burnley fan who lives down the road from Ewood Park is going to enjoy his journey home all the way back to Burnley and the back all the way to Blackburn
Mr. E Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 what a finish...we almost threw it away, really lost for words there... their keeper should have been sent off though, he was the last man and Roberts was through. Still, great victory.
shraffy Posted October 18, 2009 Posted October 18, 2009 No complaints whatsoever. 3 golden points. Job done.
