The Choices on Clarets Sad;

Looks like we will have to vote for the 1st Penny :rover:

Has the Penny dropped yet for our Dingle friends :)

Is it groundhog day again??

Waaay back in the 2000/01 season, our numpty friends from up the M65 had a decent start to the season. They were above us in the league & doing well. They were full of proud boasts, saying they were 'top dogs' & 'Lancashire`s finest' Then they played the mighty Rovers at t`turd. They got an arse-wiping infront of their own supporters & preceded to go into freefall. Their entire reason for existing disappeared in one afternoon (as did half of their town center)The next time we met at Ewood, we put them to the sword BIG time! We whooped them 5-0 & sent them packing.

....So, is it East Lancashire`s version of groundhog day again?

I predicted this would again be the case after our game at Ewood. Bumley`s 100% proud home record of 4 straight wins ended with a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Wigan. Has their will to survive taken such a beating? Have they nothing left to give? Has the belief drained away? Has the bubble burst?

I think it has.

The tinterweb boasts have stopped.

The claret & blue car flags are no longer seen.

A distinct lack of bumley footy shirts on the streets

Things are almost back to normal.

It`s almost as if nothing ever happened.

Bumley fans have faded back into the shadows. They will emerge once more at the end of february, just in time to whip up some bravado for the t`turd game in march. But i fear it will be too late for them. They will be in freefall & not so confident next time we meet.

Will another Rovers victory at t`turd be the final nail in the coffin?

I think it will be ;)

I think it will be ;)

I think they are licking their wounds and will be back, especially if they win at the weekend. They'll most likely be 5 points ahead again. We still have that game in hand though... :)

Who do the inbreds play at weekend?

A few Burnley fans thought saturday against Wigan was a certain win! Welcome to the premiership!!

Hull at home, I think they'll manage 3 points against that shower of crap, they definitely need it.

Sky published the form table yesterday over the past 6 games, we're sitting pretty in the top half, Burnley were way down towards the foot of the table...

Hull at home should be a win for them... if they fail to win that then it will start getting abit nervous for them! Hopefully Hull can improve for that 1 game!

This well old and appologies if you've seen it before but it made me laugh.

NEWSFLASH: The next Burnley FC match has been moved to the Gay Adult Channel. Apparently 11 ar@ehol#s getting hammered is too explicit for the BBC

Sorry if this has been mentioned earlier in this thread, but I was told today by a burnley fan that the toilets got completely "redesigned" during the game.

Lets hope the club send the bill to burnley for the damage, that should take up Januarys transfer budget I’d say.

It's a good rumour but completely untrue, according to the club at last week's Fans Forum. There was no damage.

Thats very interesting as I spoke to two people yesterday who both expressed disgust at the smashing up of the toilets??? maybe they're always like that

What Tom said was that they were no worse than at any other match or the home areas.

It's likely that any Rovers comment would say that nothing had happened even if it had. If word gets out (and it had been mentioned on here earlier), it's quite obvious what will happen at the Turd in the reverse fixture. In fact, their toilets were done over in the Championship league game as I saw it myself.

If that was the case I don't condone that sort of behaviour but it has to be said that their facilities could hardly be worse to start with.

Bloody hell thats dangerous - pull something off the wall in that cow shed of a stand and it could fall down....

Lateral thinking here, but if your job hung on one result in the Prem I think on current form Brown's got as lucky as he can. But for the uncharacteristic penalty misses by MU and Everton Burnley would be in the bottom 3 and probably represent the only team with as poor a squad as his Hull outfit. Relegation 6 pointer imo.
