Iceman Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 im too lazy to check, but what time is kickoff?
RoyRover Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I'm happy with the line up, although I would have liked to see van Heerden getting a start. We could always bring Pedersen on to do nothing. I like the look of our front two as well. This will be a good work out for Reid and Emerton and hopefully push for first team starts, so Pedersen and Andrews can be dropped.
herbergeehh Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Looks a better side than the one we put out against Chelsea! Was thinking the same thing. Hoilett, McCarthy and Kalinic replacing Diouf, Andrews and Roberts will probably please most Rovers fans. Think we'll see (or in my case, hear) that N'Zonzi is missed in central midfield though.
Mr. E Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Looks like a solid team...I really, really want Benni and Kalinic to form a premiership-quality partnership, and it needs to start here. Not sure how Emerton is captain-material though...
LeChuck Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 It'll be very interesting to see what sort of team we put out. In a mixture of hope and expectation, I think we might see... ................Brown Salgado Jones Givet Olsson . Hoilett Reid Emerton Elrio ........Kalinic McCarthy I like the look of the team, from http://www.rovers.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10303~1838124,00.html Brown Salgado Jones Givet Olsson Hoilett Reid Emerton Pedersen McCarthy Kalinic Subs: Robinson (GK), Andrews, Dunn, van Heerden, Jacobsen, Nelsen, Roberts Oh, I was only one away from being perfect! A bit gutted than Van Heerden isn't playing though, after Kalinic he was the one I was most wanting to play. Maybe Pedersen can give himself a confident boost in time for Old Trafford though.
John Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Do like the look of our team - plenty of energy in our midfield.
jonv Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 1000-1500 posh bought! 1-0 ROVERS! Pederson free kick!
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Pedersen, finally with a decent fk. 1-0
modes98 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Rovers player commentary won't work for me. Not a bad team. It will be interesting to see how they play.

PAFELL Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Rovers player commentary won't work for me. Not a bad team. It will be interesting to see how they play. Is this a problem with your computer with regards to rovers player? As I am getting it ok.
Blueandwhitemike Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Should be good to see how Reidy (early days for him though) and particularly Emerton do in the middle, maybe he can get in ahead of Andrews if he plays well.l
modes98 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Is this a problem with your computer with regards to rovers player? As I am getting it ok. No it is working fine now, it just took ages to connect for some reason. Got on just after the goal.
champions1995 Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 We've been waiting ages for a successful Pedersen free kick!
niggit Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 Waiting for everyone to go to the Pedersen thread after.
Fife Rover Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I know it's early days, but how are the two teams performing up to now.....anybody?
jonv Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 We've been waiting ages for a successful Pedersen free kick! He got one against Aggy the other week (if that counts )
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 27, 2009 Posted October 27, 2009 I know it's early days, but how are the two teams performing up to now.....anybody? Pretty even in terms of play by the sounds of it. No real chances for Posh yet, we haven't really threatened since the goal.
