j166429 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 This is the worst I've seen the rovers play for a long time! The only one who has had a decent game is Robinson. We are absolutely useless.

alexanders Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Nelsen again!!! What a horrible performance!
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Poor defending, 5-0. Another Nelsen error...
snatchymcsnatch Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 It's what I expected - I'm fed up of us just automatically throwing the towel in against the big guns though. Surely we should at least have a go.
j166429 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 I correct myself. This is the worst side I ever seen!!
Ben-2000 Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 At least they gave it a go at Arsenal. nearly £50.00 for this, thank god I stayed at home!
CrazyIvan Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 I've given up watching. We are SHOCKING defensively away from home. The opposition waltz through us like we're not there. Not just midfield but defenders are just woeful. Explain it please someone? I don't even think it's Sams tactics, I just think it's something within the team mentality that needs sorting out. We WILL win away from home. Not today though.
DarrellH Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Sick and tired of watching this 10 men behind the ball with no pressure rubbish!!! We'd be better suited with two rows of table football type things with two guys moving them from side to side than this shower of.... Disgraceful!
Ossydave Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 5. I have never seen such a 1 sided top flight game in my life. Genuinely think we could conceed 10 here.
Exiled in Toronto Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 "Sam keeps things tight at the back" "Sam gives the top 4 hard games"
Hasta Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Remember that semi final at Old Trafford when we should really have beat them. That seems a long long time ago.
deftangel Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Our away 'form' is absolutely disgusting. It is not acceptable to be regularly getting tonked four, five, six whatever away from home. I don't care who the manager is, what game he last won or what he's achieved. We were doing alright at 1-0. Pedersen had a fair bit of space on the left, could have made something of a couple of opportunities with some more composure. This kind of capitulation is unprecedented and unacceptable.
Backroom DE. Posted October 24, 2009 Backroom Posted October 24, 2009 Sickening. What the hell did he tell them at HT?!
chocky Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Sam Allardyce has to take a long hard look at himself..It's his tactics and game play they are playing...the team was never up for this at all..
RibbleValleyRover Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Got to feel for the fans who paid 47 quid to witness this @#/?...
mogster Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 I understand our important games are those teams around us but we may as well TRY to get something from a top 4 team but it's like they are told not to get injured so they are fresh for our 'big' games. It's doin' my head in.
dulwich Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 It's what I expected - I'm fed up of us just automatically throwing the towel in against the big guns though. Surely we should at least have a go. Exactly right, and what I've been saying for weeks now.
bigbrandjohn Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 The problem with a defensive plan is that at 5-0 it may be worth changing. The strategy of winnng the games you can win and not worrying about the top four is that ou can get into a losing mentality. We have been there before.
Maverick Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 5-0 Think it will end 8-0 or something. This is just pathetic. I know we are playing Chelsea, but how we play today, we would have lost to every PL club. Championship next year???
Exiled in Toronto Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Sam Allardyce has to take a long hard look at himself..It's his tactics and game play they are playing...the team was never up for this at all.. In the post-match, this will be nothing to do with him. He takes credit for wins and blames the team for losses
Barrymaffia Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Bloody embarassed. All I want is for us to give it a go at least
Backroom DE. Posted October 24, 2009 Backroom Posted October 24, 2009 Championship next year??? Nope, because for some reason it's the big 4 we seem to automatically capitulate against. When it comes to other teams we actually seem to put up a good fight (we beat Villa with 10 men after all). But practically every time we play the big 4 now we get utterly smashed to pieces. It's so embarrassing.
